Thanks for the links OWell. Here is how I understood it. They are replacing the Medals by having unlockable Avatars. I liked the medals but felt there weren't enough different Avatars to choose from in the PS2 version. Sounds like 470 cards 3/4 of them with new artwork. More creatures in this one compared to the number of spells and items from the PS2 version. Online play with X-Box Live. Card restrictions on powerful cards. A new card ability and faster gameplay. 3D character models and monsters being placed on the map instead of 2D ones. Something like a sealed deck mode, that would be cool. And you can change the appearance of your book. I don't know if any of this is true, this is just what I got from the translations.

Still, I am surprised that information of culdcept was provided from France.
I can suppose that war and the existence of the cards become a theme in a story of the saga.

Right, the trailer almost makes it like an RPG because it shows more cutscenes than the actual gameplay. I like the new 3D look, the new squares are very colorful and the monsters are nicely animated. I saw on another site you mentioned "Morphing land" that change to match the placed creature's element. This should make single colored books more playable as they will have more land to target and less to transform.
