I'm not so sure that this game will be released in the U.S. next month. After seeing the 3/30/07 release date for www.gamestats.com and still no official release date posted anywhere. Usually when a game is close to being released an official release date is made. There is still no product info for Culdcept Saga on Namco/Bandai games English site. I don't mind waiting for games if they are working on fixing bugs and tweaking things. www.gamestats.com/objects/821/821704/Bugs may be corrected if there are four months. It is better to be bug-free above all. Thank you for Lizardman. I appreciate informational correction.

I must admit that many aspect are very disappointing about the game. For one, I don't believe you can play online against the AI with friends. I also don' t believe you can trade cards online, either. And I played a story match, 3-way FFA, and the many monsters that were played bogged the game down to the point where the dice were so slow I could almost choose a number to stop on. Also, you still can't exit out of a game mid-battle. In story you can, by saving, but you must resume from save to resume story mode. And in multiplayer, you just have to exit to the dashboard.
As Kuroi mentioned to me, it almost seems like they spent more time on the weak single player story than on multiplayer robustness.

While this game does have its problems no one should consider it a horrid game. There are just several frustrating factors that I hope they work out and/or improve for the US Version. Most of them pointed out by Topcat. I really, honestly, feel as if they almost rushed the game out.
PS: Anyone else having problems with loading an "Extra Map" without being online?

I think you can trade cards online... I think. I forgot who I did my trading with actually... OWell thanks for clarification and I understand your frustration. Do you think they will do a patch that can fix all the bugs?

I've tried navigating so many menus to find where to trade cards and have come up empty handed. If you think you find any hint of the option, definitely hop on here and let us know. Owell, can you help us? Is there an option for trade that we are all missing? I think they will fix all the major bugs. Although I can and do easily deal with the choppy slow down here and there, I wish they could fix that too.

And for that matter, what exactly is the "Battle Book"?

Do you think they will do a patch that can fix all the bugs? I do not think that all the bugs of a Japanese version are repaired with a patch. Moreover, if a patch is install the system in HDD, the patch is meaningless when there is nothing HDD. (The bug report from users are continuing increasing still now.) However, in on-line, since it is expected that the program of server side is also corrected, an improvement may become more effective. The technique of Rocket Studio's Culdcept saga development team can guess that it is not so high, either. Therefore, it is an unknown how much are improved by the North America version. Now, it just waits for the patch.

¹“°" -> cathedral ( shrine / church / chapel) "‚Ù‚±‚ç" -> shrine (sanctuary )
"‰‡ŒìƒNƒŠ[ƒ`ƒƒ[" -> Covering creature : The card used as a substitute of an item by creature which has a notation of "‰‡Œì" (e.i. Under cover ability) at the time of a battle. --- It is above-mentioned meaning on the definition, it frequently is misused.
