Assuming other people might be thinking similarly, I'm wondering if there are any plans on a FAQ of card translations, etc.? I'd assume in the very least, however, that many of us with the game would go about posting up bit by bit info on cards that we've obtained and such. I have enough of a knowledge of japanese to get by, for the most part, but my kanji is seriously lacking.
(Edit since Release date has changed and to make more sense)

I'm sure you and I will wind up spending many hours translating cards and testing for misprints, etc. I'll certainly make it a point to have one of us start a thread to drop card details on. And I'm quite certain Owell will be the hero of the day and provide lots of insight.

Culdcept Saga card data are written by the follow website(Japanese). rose.zero.ad.jp/mizuki/culdcept/culdcard3.htmlIn Culdcept Saga, some creature cards is newly added to the following territorial abilities. 1) ‘¦Žž[sokuji]:Immediately effect that the creature is put to the land. (ex. if you put "tokebi"(new card) to the land, the effect "Land transfer" is occured immediately. ) 2) i‰»[shinka]:change to another creature.(ex. the ability of "brancharmy"(new card) :changes to "mudman") 3) Žôg[jyushin]:Cast the spell to the creature itself which is put to the land. (ex.if you put "doodle-beatle"(new card) to the land, the spell "Quicksand" is casted to the "doodle-beatle" that you put. ) and some spell cards is newly added to the ability; •œ¥[fukushou]:you can cast extra spell(s) at the same spell phase. The spell "paralyze"(same effect of "binding mist") has this one. If you have paralyze*4 and find on your card, you can cast 4 times of paralyze and then find at the same time!

Thanks for the translations PzKwIVG, this will be a big help in translating the cards. Some of the new abilities you mentioned sound really cool. I can see alot of new deck types and strategies appearing from these abilities. Casting 5 spells in one turn! That sounds like lots of fun for you and not fun at all for your opponent.

That database doesn't seem to be populated quite yet. I was hoping to get an early look, but I suppose I'll have to wait longer.

This is quite a big help on an early start for sure. Unfortunately, due to some circumstances, I don't believe I will be lucky enough to have Culdcept on release day in Japan and will probably have it a week or so later. I am very impatient when it comes to getting this game. ;D I can't wait!
Thanks PzKwIVG ! We all look forward to playing with you online.

Oh, I guess it was populated, but it just didn't work in Firefox. This'll give me something to do at work when it slows down.

- ‘ÎÛ(Taisyou) : object / subject / target.
- Žô‚¢(Noroi) : Curse.
- 퓬’†(Sento-Cyu-) : Under a battle / In the period throughout a battle
(In my translation, I assumed it "At the time of a battle").
- 퓬ŠJŽnŽž(Sento-KaisiJi) : At the time of a battle start.
- 퓬I—¹Žž(Sento-Syu-ryo-Ji) : At the time of the end of a battle.
- UŒ‚¬Œ÷Žž(KougekiSeikouji) : At a time of attack success.
- —Ì’n(Ryouti) : Territory.
- notice :In a Creature card, this notation is used as a tag to show contents of "Territory Ability(TA)".)
- ‘¦Ž€(Sokusi) : immediate death -> lethal ( / deadly / fatal) -> Lethal Attack (LA).
- When attack of the Creature succeeded, the Antagonist dies instantly with constant probability.

- ‹‘Å(Kyouda) : Hard blow.
ST increases 1.5 times.
- –hŒäŒ^(BougyoGata) : Defensive type.
- ‰‡Œì(Engo) : Cover ( / Support ). ->
Covered (type) -> Under cover (type) (It is Support in PS2, but my translation describes it with cover because, if anything, cover is good. It is the side which receives cover and is not the side to perform.)
- ‰ž‰‡ (Ohen) : Aid (backup / help / behind / boost / support / cheering).
The effect is in the whole map. The capability of creature which meet the conditions shown in the card regardless of friend and foe at the time of a battle is changed. To itself, it is ineffective. - Because it was the ability that existence such as Gods or Demon kings etc. had, I decided to describe it as "Aid".
- N—ª‘¤(SinryakuGawa) : aggression side.
- –hŒä‘¤(BouGyoGawa) : difensive side.
- ‘S‘Ì”\—Í(ZentaiNouryoku) -> affect the entire / be influential on

"Eijiro on Web( www.alc.co.jp/)" was used for the dictionary. And "goo Ž«‘( dictionary.goo.ne.jp/)".

I couldn't help but notice that it seems like a lot of cards are missing from that database. For instance, I only see reference to several idols; most of the idols from the first game are missing from the listing. Plus the card numbers they have assigned are very odd. They have 622 total numbers. The creatures go from 1-149 and then the spells go from 501-543.
I must wonder if either 1) the database is complete, the numbers are wrong, and Omiya did more card changing than I paid attention to, or 2) it's currently incomplete and the numbers are right or wrong.
Perhaps Owell or PzKwIVG can give some insight?

Perhaps Owell or PzKwIVG can give some insight? I cannot understand in what kind of meaning "Bruce Leech (Owner of Culdcept DB)" is assigning a number. Numbering in the analysis of the data file of the DC version by The Grand Sage BANA was consecutive numbers (" web.archive.org/web/20050305233852/http://www.kiy.jp/~bana/culdcept/" (in Japanese)). Advertisement has reported that the kind of cards of Culdcept Saga is about 470 sorts.

Memo : About Japanese signage written to a card (3). - Šî–{HP(Kihon HP) : Basic HP.
Basic HP which the Creature itself originally has in the state where "Terrain effect","Item" and "Aid" etc. is not added.
- Šî–{ST(Kihon ST) : Basic ST.
Basic ST which the Creature itself originally has in the state where "Support Effect","Item" and "Aid" etc. is not added.
- ’nŒ`Œø‰Ê(TikeiKouka)FTerrain Effect (TE) (/ Topographic(al) Effect).
When the element of Creature puted there is the same as the element of the territory, and HP increases ["Land level" * 10] at the time of a battle.
- Žx‰‡Œø‰Ê(SienKouka)FSupport Effect (SE).
When Creature(s) of an owner is put next to the land where a battle happened, ST increases ["The number of adjacent Creature(s)" * 10]. - Logistic support / Logistics assistance
- Žx‰‡(Sien) : assistance / support / backup
- ”z’u§ŒÀ(HaichiSeigen) : Land Restriction (LR).
The meaning called the element of the land which the creature cannot arrange.
- ƒAƒCƒeƒ€§ŒÀ(AitemuSeigen) : Item Restriction (IR).
The meaning called the item which the creature cannot use . - §ŒÀ(Seigen) : Restriction / Curb
It was limit in PS2, but a meaning does not match. Because this is a meaning not to be rather possible, it is "curb"/"restriction".
