Thinking about this, does anyone know if there's an XBox 360 Emulator? I can't find one online, but it would definitely be a way to go, seeing as this is likely to only 360 game I'd want to play, and it can't be as graphically intense as a normal 360 game. No, there is not an emulator for any next gen system and it's near impossible to properly emulate any current gen. I'd suggest buying the system and the game like everyone else or waiting for more games that would fulfill your standard genre enjoyment and then buy it (it will probably be cheaper by that time). Patience is a virtue For future reference, I don't think it's a great idea to start discussing bootleg mumbo on a board filled with dedicated fans.

Sadly, I won't be - at least not just for the new Culdcept. I wish Culdcept were a PC game and not on any console at all. PC needs more games like this

Great!, we'll see you on Xbox Live when it comes out over here. Though I will probably collect all the cards and spend lots of time playtesting my books before I go on Xbox Live. I'm sure there will be alot of tough opponents online, I want to be prepared to face them. I am looking forward to the challenge though, you can only beat Zenith so many times before you start wanting to play against tougher opponents. ;D

I'm poor in general, and not an xbox fan. But, knowing this game is coming out i think I may have to. I'd certinly prefer it for computer, my net gaming system of choice, but, as opposed as i am to the box, my love of culdcept is probubly more. If the price does go down, i think i just may have to.

In last week, I have reserved a piece of Culdcept saga limited edition. But, iDOLM@STER limited edition, it is very expensive price (20,790 yen=173.25 dollar), many of online gameshops had ended the reservation receipt of it, just on October 6th, Famitsu announced !!!! (please copy and paste following address on your browser.) www.famitsu.com/game/coming/2006/10/04/104,1159937647,61222,0,0.html It might be thought that you are unbelievable. However, it is a fact. me? I have succeeded to reserve it (*^^)

I personaly bought a 360 for Chrome Hounds (Thank you Sega for the best mech game ever!!!), but having an online culdcept is like gravy. Thank the gods that it's on the 360 and not the PS3, because I won't be buying that system until it's below the $400 mark, which will be quite a few years.

I've got to ask out of curiosity. Aside from the obvious hate for Microsoft or not having the money to support a next gen gaming hobby, does anyone else have other reasons to not buy the system? Maybe even explain how hate for Microsoft justifies a Sony purchase for anyone that prefers Sony to Microsoft?
I'm wondering if it's blatantly flamboyant fanboyism or just something else? I always get all the systems, because I can afford it (relatively speaking) and I know every system ends up with it's own good 1st party titles as well as niche titles. I'd love to hear some other sides of the story.

Well. I got a dreamcast becuase of Soul Calibur, sonic, hydro thunder and marvel vs capcom. Three of which i'd been playing fairly obsessivly in the arcade before the system came out. I still have my DC, and, still play those 4 titles. I got a PS2 becuase several series i liked on PS1 were going to be having new ps2 installments. I got the GBA for castlevania and advance wars. I got the psp becuase i flat out liked the feel of the system better than the DS, in particular the buttons (the ds lite has since fixed a lot of these feel problems, but i don't have the cash to get one now). I got my first system the PS1, towards the end of it's life, when my folks finnaly relented and alowed me to own a game system. (I've since picked up a genesis, and SNES, off ebay, along with a host of games).
So, from those previous facts, i can draw these conclusions. I like the feel of a system first. The original xbox controller, everyone will agree was crap, and was a big reason in my not getting one. Same with the gamecube, i just didn't like the button placement. It's also a factor in weather i want a PS3, wii, or 360. My favorite controller would have to be my arcade stick for my dreamcast, and next would come the ps2 controller.
Next, I like games, and, still enjoying oldschool 2d games i have to say, graphics don't mean much to me. I'll play a fun bad looking game long before a pretty boring one. One of the main reasons i never got a gamecube or original xbos was becuase so little of their line-up appealed to me, and i never could justify forking over the money for one title. I also like series, and will usually go for a system in order to enjoy the next installment of a series.
Online. Online, the xbox's truest stongpoint, has never been a selling point for me. Athough i enjoy one MMORPG, being able to play my system online has never been a big seller for me. I am not good at playing human opponets, i'm not that great at vanquishing the electronic ones. Anytime someone would challage me in an arcade, i basicly had to leave since i'd never beat them. I never have been great, I have some skills but i'm not a digital master. So logging on to be royaly stomped time and again, has never had much appeal to me. I also dont play many 2player games. I don't like many racing games, FPS, and have no sports titles at all. I don't own any of the team based war games. The only 2player game i really enjoy is fighter, and i generaly never play them with other people. So while I apreciate the option, it's not something thats going to sell me.
Like i said, i'm not great at FPS, and so, don't play many, so halo was never that big an interest to me.
So, without a physicall reason to interest me, or a gameplay one, i never got a XBOX, and never even considered the 360. I'm not getting a ps3, at least not before i see something i want to play on it. And am only moderately considering getting a wii. I don't know.

i'll be picking up a 360 for this. i haven't seen much else on the 360 that impresses me. i don't care for fps, sports, or "american" rpgs.

Just hope that it won't cost alot... Urgh, cost of a 360 plus the Saga... I will be way broke.
By the way, is it by any chance, similar to the PS2 version? Judging from the design and such, somehow it gives me the feeling that both would probably be damn close.
