The fun ends when you have 4 of each card....  Anyway, I think we need to move to the 'Haven' section for this topic. This game would be great fun if I had 4 of each card........... damn it. I hate hodgepodging together a deck with mismached luck and happenstance. |

I just picked this one up last night, allied with Gemmory against Gamygin, toll set to minimum value, with random land on.
(I finally got my first Decoy tonight, wahoo! )

Hey, everybody keeps talking about story characters for this, is there any reason you can't ally yourself with a human player? Or even control both your allies yourself?

yes. as far as i know, the only medal you can get with another human in the game is a card-collecting medal (for instance, if you completed your Spell catalog as a result of your card reward).

It is just a poor translation. The medal is awarded when you succssfully prevent your ally from having to PAY toll. I played against Goligan with Zeneth, and he was Goligan inveaded Zeneth and won, but Zeneth never paid a toll so I won the medal. Good Luck guys

Does anyone know if this works with a human ally? I tried it with my girlfriend yesterday (vs. Selena, G limit at 6,000), and while she never paid a toll, we didn't get the medal.
* Update - Tried again, also against Selena, G limit 10,000. This time, NEITHER of us paid a toll, OR were denied a toll. Honestly? We felt bad. The final score was like 11,000 to 37.
Anyway, still no medal, so I'm going to assume that you just can't win it with a human ally.
