These aren't combos (Synergy, almost everything everyone posted is, 'cept Son Ascetic/Centaur), and they are obvious, but I use them a lot, so I'll put them down just cause:
Bandit/Executor: steal 180+ G VERY early in the game if your lucky.
Gremlin/Heart Fibula or Mutation: a 50 MHP Gremlin is almost impossible to destroy on a plains space.
Charon or Any Creature with Simulacrum/Petrify Stone: Nearly impossible to kill (Pet. Stone stops all scroll attacks except Sleep and Death). Don't use on a level 1 space, or you'll end up losing a ton of money. Also beware Paralyzation.
Permission/Clockwork Owl: Put owl as close to the castle as possible. Pass the castle, activate the owl with your territory ability, then cast Permission and pass the castle again.

I just played a four-player game against my friends, and just to be cute I brought along an Iron Idol and four Mistletoes. It lasted about 80 rounds and I think I made more than 1000G in Mistletoe alone.
It really helped that no one landed on the Idol or had a Magic Bolt with them.

I have found that one of my favorite signature two card combo is
Soul Steal + Energy Flash
This trick can be very time consuming but most beneficial to the caster, (not to mention this can piss off the other you are playing against).
It is best to do the combo earlier in the game as most players are trying to get territory (not focusing on leveling their land). once there are enough creatures in place, you must cast Soul Steal first then on the next turn (as long as your status has not been removed) cast energy flash.
Note: Energy Flash only removes creatures that are only lvl 1.
Each creature removed from the board is +50 G to you. now on a map like say, Cratos or even Abyss you can gain alot of G the most I have collected so far is 2600.
Thanks to the Earth shaker card that took a few lvl 2 lands to lvl one before I casted Energy Flash.
Yes earth shaker is costly but it helped get me from last place to a quick second in three turns.

one good combo of mine that find workin time and time again is:
Charon + Petrify Stone......u'll neva have to work anotha day in ya life....as it is a SURE win everytime for the Defense....
Charon - converts physical damage into x2G payment for your opponent (Big deal, u didnt get hit right?)
Petrify Stone will make him outlive any Scroll attacks..makin him untouchable in the true sense of the word.
Level his turf up thru the roof n set land-protection....u got a friend for life...haha

I like to put Kelpie on blue land, or Old Willow on red, then give them spell protect. I also like to use catastrophe when I am right in front of castle and opponent is far from it. Then I reach castle, my creatures recover, and next turn I use a second catastrophe which finishes off opponent. I once took out 18 enemy creatures this way. Another effective combo is meteor followed by energy flash. Just make sure you have leveled up all your territories to level 2 or more.

Gooba Queen + Demonic Trade. Gain lotsa money
Catastrophe + Catastrophe (pretty obvious one, but "everything dies" is a pretty useful combo) It's best to use one right before passing the castle, and one right after passing the castle, so your stuff lives.

Tao Tigh + Heart Fibula. I used this combo when Zagol invaded with a Willow Wisp. I destroyed the Willow Wisp, gained 30 MHP + 10 strength in one battle.

Golden Totem + Soul Hunt: For a total investment of 10G, you rake in 450G in returns when you get around to making the withdrawal. "Golden Totem: The Sound Financial Choice."
Brass Idol: In addition to being great for drawing through your book, goes along nice with the following cards: Lilith, Manticore, Mujina, Mujina Mask.

I like Powder Eater + Spirit Walk...but what I love doing is using Temperance and Mutation and Growth Body to boost his HP first, then use spirit walk to send him everywhere.
