When putting together a book, do you take into consideration the size of the boards you are planning to use it on? I.E. small/medium/large boards, as far as the number of creatures you plan on placing in the book?
It's a topic thats been troubling me somewhat, as I've found more offensive minded books difficult to play on smaller boards without being devoured.

Personally, I think map size and layout is critical when creating a book. It definitely determines what spells I include in my books. For example, if a map has an easy way to double back to the castle, then Permission is a must, whereas that spell is nearly useless without Word of Recall on a map with a linear path.
