I use Quicksand in a lot of decks and often use it like most. But I thought of an idea to use Quicksand to force myself to land on an enemy that could be killed easy.
Now all you need to make sure of is to make sure you can kill the monster your attacking. Weaken the monster with spells of attacks with other monster. Once you know you can kill said monster place Quicksand on your target and take the nice Level 5 land to make sure your enemy doesn't win on this lap.
Just thought I'd share my use of the spell.
