I was ready this morning to try and get the "all R-cards" medal but I stopped myself because I couldn't make a good 50-card mix of only R-cards. The majority of R-cards are elemental creatures with extreme territory requirements, really expensive items, really useless spells, and runty little neutral creatuers with some arcane special ability.
Does anyone have any recommendations for an all R-card deck?

I no longer have the deck saved, so I don't remember exactly what I used, but I had an easy time. Here's the general idea:
Put a fair number of R creatures with no territory requirements in there. They don't need to be powerful or useful, just something to get you on the board, and enough of them that you've got a good chance of drawing some early. I'd say at least 8, more if you can.
Then as, you might guess, have some with territory restrictions--in particular a Kelpie or an Old Willow are ideal, but other strong monsters are fine too. The forced stop cards are the most important though, if you've got em (otherwise, it will just take a little longer). You also want the little Russian squirel thing that casts Land Protection if you can. You should have a good 25+ creatures.
Finally you will want some really strong defensive items (a few offensive if you like, but more defensive). Add whatever spells you think could be useful.
Now, just select Dunnan and play against Luthien.
Hopefully you draw some playable monsters, and at least one strong defensive item. As long as you've got a good defensive item (enough to survive what Luthien can throw at you), she won't ever attack. Then you will lap rapidly on the small map. Use territory to replace a weak creature, with a stronger 1-territory req. creature (even if it will then be the only one on the board, you can still do the exchange). Considering how quickly you can pass the creature or land on a castle after played, it's not hard to quickly upgrade to higher creatures.
Then once you've got a Kelpie or Old Willow on the board using this technique, level it up, cast Land Protection using the little Russian thing, if you've got it out, and you will put Luthien out of business in no time.
It's very straight forward and easy to win this way.

If you have it, I found the Gold Idol to be very helpful in obtaining this medal.
Gold Idol (R) (NC) ST:0 HP:20 G:70 Item Limit: xWeapon xScroll Defense Creatures will ignore all conditions except for magical powers when creature is summoned. (Requirements such as discards or land ownage are ignored when summoning.)

Thanks for your input Thumpasaurus and Utawoutau. I knew Kelpie, Old Willow and Quicksand (which I just received) would be crucial elements. I didn't even realize that Gold Idol was rare (all other idols are strange, I used the marble, brass and silver ones for the S-card medal). The Gold Idol should be a boon for the expensive R- elemental monsters; I'll try it out first thing tomorrow.
By the way, Thumpasaurus. Do you really think the Domovikha looks like a squirrel? I've been calling it the "Schnauzer in an Apron".

That pair is definately a pair of dogs; either Brussels Griffon, Pekingese, or Silky/Yorkshire Terrier.
Ugly.

I thought it looked like it was a squirrel at first, but yeah, I can see the pair as pekinese or some other small breed dogs too. Whatever they are, at least you figured out what I was talking about. ;D I couldn't remember the proper spelling.

I won the medal two days ago (the site wouldn't let me login since then), and it was pretty easy versus my favorite punching bag Mullyn. She Lake Leaped over my Lvl 5 Old Willow three times at first, but I attacked her Lvl 4 senile Megalodon with my Kelpie armed with a Gaseous Form (she used a Water Shield but the shark still died). She couldn't complete a single lap with both the Old Willow and the Kelpie on one side after that and the final score was a blowout: 13360 to 1800. Thanks again for your suggestions, everyone.
P.S. I'm not much of a dog person, but the Domovikha and the Domovoi remind me so much of my stepmother's schnauzer Charlotte who passed away shortly before I purchased Culdcept. I guess I've been colloquially calling them the "Schnauzers in an apron/with a pipe" in her honor.
