TopCat,
No offense but I am having a bit of trouble understanding Tank's guide. I have grinded a couple of hours on Coliseum III and managed to get one dual color card. Now I am not getting very many new cards.
I guess I need to grind through the storyline a bit. It gets frustrating that I have to spend an hour or more per map. I won Coliseum III last night due to sheer luck. I guess I should ask for a good vs. AI storyline deck on another thread. ^^

Topcat: The specification, "Whenever you win three straight victories, you can obtain a certainly new card.", exist in the Japanese version. Does this specification exist also the U.S. version? If it exist, you can get dual-element creatures and multiple instant spells at Santana Village! That is why "Santana Village is OK" I wrote !!!!Oh! I forgot about that fact. It must exist because I have acquired Mass Phantasm and Desert Storm. Thanks for pointing that out, Tank! We should play again sometime! m(_ _)m

Hrm. I am playing a 3v1 with me, dummy, and virtual vs. a created AI and I do not always get a new card after winning. I have won over 10 Coliseum II matches in a row this way. US Saga here.

What map were you playing on when you got the multi-color? Santana Village?

Im not positive. It was definitely either Santana or Coliseum III at that point. I have managed to get one multi-color and several multiple target spells before beating Coliseum III in story. Once I got the Kelpie I went ahead and beat it and the level afterwards. Now im grinding on the level afterwards until I get another Kelpie or two.
The multi I got was a Jack-o'-Lantern (R/G).

Pirateydan,
Thanks for the info. I almost have two decks constructed because of all the good advice given here. I'm just waiting on two B/Y creatures. I have been playing against a dummy AI for card capturing. I probably need to switch to story mode on Santana Village when I go for the 3 victories in a row for a multi-color card.
See you all online one day.

After farming for 2 days straight, I found that Santana card rewards seem to be more creatures than any other type.
Also, once I got the 4 achievements for having all of each colored creature, I wound up getting 4 dual color creatures as rewards so far (for my every 3rd win).
Also, it seems that the, "win 3 consecutive vitories and you get a 'new' card" seems to hold true.

AH I finally found the link. Anyone here that can explain this links contents? I for one don't have Iksear, Selenear, Bistair or Terrair yet, but the card list sight doesn't quote them as being Creature Cards as displayed in a Japanese Game in Culdcept does. Is this the downloaded extra content Japanese system got? www.youtube.com/watch?v=_B63ELw1XZE&feature=related

There are many bugs for Culdcept Saga that were patched when the game was initially released. From dice glitches, to spells as creatures, etc.

I kinda thought that because of the outlining of the two cards represented spell cards and not the respective element.

Best way to get cards ultra fast is this...
Step 1 : Beat the game to gain access to the last level Step 2 : In an alliance match, play on a three way alliance versus a single computer controlled AI on the map Stairway to the Gods. Step 3 : Set gold conditions to 1000, and include 4 holy word zero's in your deck for a first turn win. If you have family, you can play all of their characters on the same team and give everyone the same amount of cards.
Edit : This works better if you play 3 human players in an alliance vs. a single AI, as the AI tends to make poor use of word of recall/holy word zero. So again, if you have friends/family it's twice as cool. Oh yeah, and make sure the AI has all items in their deck to prevent any time consuming invasions.
Note, at the start of the game, the team will have 1050 gold, holy word 0 will win for any member of the team. You can also use word of recall/backwards (sometimes) on other maps with the morphing land setting with low cost red creatures (hive worker/domovoi/domovika), to build fast chains to give you more than 1000 gold on other maps.
Morphing land is important. I play those three red creatures. The only problem with Word of Recall is that it is rare, and thus unreliable to build a card base.
You can easily get about 500+ cards per hour using this method.
