I shall post Topcats rough translation of the achievements for anyone who might be in need. Easier here instead of searching the translation thread.
EDIT: I have now provided the exact translation for all 50 achievements below:

1. New Champion
Rise to the pinnacle of the Colosseum. 5 points
2. Ally of Earth
Form an alliance with Melkizekiah, the Great Forest. 5 points
3. Ally of Fire
Form an alliance with Phoenixion, Mountain of the Firebird. 5 points
4. Ally of Water
Form an alliance with Blumeer, Country of Mist. 5 points
5. Ally of Air
Form an alliance with Batuan, the Golden Desert. 5 points
6. First Trial Clear
Pass the trial of Venice, Fountain of the Stars. 10 points
7. Second Trial Clear
Pass the trial of Kaningun, Tower of the Moon. 10 points
8. Third Trial Clear
Pass the trial of Provedin, Palace of the Sun. 10 points
9. Path to Light
At the Altar of Light, become the ultimate Cepter. 20 points
10. Path to Darkness
At the Altar of Darkness, become the ultimate Cepter. 20 points

Upon the Stairway to the Gods, become the creator of a new world. 20 points

Steal 300G or more of magic in one Bandit attack and achieve victory. 30 points
29. Chief of Goblins
Raise Red Cap's ST and HP to 300 or higher during battle and achieve victory. 30 points
30. Disciple of Justice
Steal territory three times with Grass Strider and achieve victory. 20 points
31. Surveyor of Fire
Make all lands fire element and achieve victory. 20 points
32. Surveyor of Water
Make all lands water element and achieve victory. 20 points
33. Surveyor of Earth
Make all lands earth element and achieve victory. 20 points

I read #30 wrong. It should in fact read:

Snatch a land with a Glass Strider on three different occassions, ie, win a battle with him 3 times.

#50 Looks rough. Im good but after about 5 wins Id say id face some contenders looking to prove something. Ah well Ive just about done it all on the ps2 including wiping out zenith. I should be able to handle this too after that challenge.

Seems like they're not rewarding different types of deck compsition other than the four creature color achievements. There's no Soul of the Alchemist equivalent, "no spells" or "no items" achievement. I can live without the powder eater and gooba queen style achievements though.

One thing I was wondering, do these achivements have medal style icons? I think I'm going to miss the physical feel of the nice 3D medals in the PS2 version.

They may not have those particular medals as achievements, however, they are criteria for acquiring various avatar parts. For instance, the spell equivalent will net you the Magic Shield item instead of an achievement.

The achievements only have standard achievement icons. There is no "medal" screen in the game itself where you can see things in 3D detail. Most of the achievements do get you avatar parts so therein lies their physical beauty, I'd say.

I'd like to add that even though you don't receive medals when gaining avatar parts you still certainly do just as much work. It's actually a breath of fresh air to have that option of 'showcasing' your parts. Honestly, I look back at getting all of the avatar parts and I can't even remember where all that time went. I can't remember if there is a fully translated list for all the avatar parts on the forums. If not, perhaps we could slap one together. I had a cliff note version on my other PC. I'll double check when I'm in front of it.
