I recently started playing Culdcept about a week ago at a friends house and started a char on his memory card. Now I have since ordered the game but I already have a good start on my character and would love to continue. Does anybody know if there is a way to transfer him to my memory card?

Actually when me and my friends first started playing this game, we saved all of our characters on one memory card and found out you couldn't copy/move them through the PS2 memory card interface. However, later on we found out that you have to move characters within the game's own system. Here's how you do it if I remember correctly: Make sure you have the memory card with your character in it and the memory card you want to transfer the character to in the PS2. Go into Versus Mode and then load the character that you want to transfer. Bring up the menu for that character and in the menu there should be an option named "Data" or something similar to it. From there you can chose where you want that character to be saved I believe. I haven't done this in a while, so the name of the option is fuzzy, but it is possible. Only problem is that you can only move a character and not create an exact copy on another memory card. This means that you'll have to bring your memory card to your friend's house every time you want to play versus with your character. Hope this helps.
