I tried using the Granite idol recently, I think there must be something wrong with the translation of it cuz it don't work.
Card Text:
Defense. All Cepters are unable to choose (lightning symbol) spells except for “Dispel”<br>
I know this card doesn’t work as advertised, Two turns after it was placed it was taken out by an evil blast. If that isn’t what it was supposed to do then what does it actually do? Or is it ‘broken’ ? Anyone have any ideas?

There is a whole topic devoted to idols here: culdcept.proboards27.com/index.cgi?board=rules2&action=display&thread=1081460277Basically, one of the posters gives a "normal English" breakdown of what the cards should really say. And for the Granite Idol the translation was: Cepters can not use "single use" spells except for "Dispel" (Check the cards symbol on the upper right hand side- if its a single lightning bolt- and its not Dispel- you can't cast it)Hope that helps. |

I should have been more specific in my idol post- It actually refers to single spells cast on other Cepters
