A few of the medals require victory in a Sudden Death match. How exactly does a Sudden Death match work? The manual isn't too helpful in describing it...

Sudden Death means that when one person or team goes bankrupt (magic is depleted), the other person or team wins.
The medal I think you're talking about is obtained from winning a game due to sudden death.

Sudden Death has to be turned on at the menu after you choose a map. Sudden Death activates once any cepter gets halfway to the magic goal. From that point on, if any cepter who gets magic depleted (they're at 0 or less total magic, meaning if they sell all their lands/symbols and have 1g or more left over it doesn't activate), the game ends, the guy who was depleted being in last, and the other players in order of their total magic. I'm 99% certain that once Sudden Death starts (the game lets you know), it doesn't go away, even if the guy who got to 50% goal goes below it.

Can anyone confirm that this is true? Because I've noticed that when a player reaches the half-way point, the stage's music changes, but if the player falls back to below half-way it changes back. I was wondering if Sudden Death works the same way.
