I'm sorry but I can't remember this medal's name, but the conditions are that all lands should be at lvl 1 by the time you win. Any tips on how to achieve this?

When I got mine, I packed in a lot of direct damage spells. If a land that has been levelled up becomes unoccupied at some point, it reverts back to level 1.
So naturally, I never raised any of my own lands. And when the computer raised the level of a land, I basically had two options:
1. Conquer that land, then move my creature off of it. This returns the land to level 1, and you will now control an adjacent land (at level 1).
2. Use direct damage spells to kill the creature protecting the land. This way it reverts.
The only problem with this are some creatures (like Cait Sith I believe) which cannot be targeted by spells. Those you have to try and conquer.

A land that has been levelled up does not become level 1 if unoccupied. It becomes level 1 if: - Released because of magic depletion. - Released with Land Transfer spell.
A land retains its level if: - Creature is destroyed by any means and land is otherwise left unoccupied. - Creature is moved.
Unoccupied levelled up lands will count against you for this medal. I'm sure we got the medal against Mullyn. Simply try to keep her off the blue lands as those are the only ones she'll level up, and use cards like Subsidience, Locust, and Meteor if you're worried you can't keep her down.

My man Lord Blade, you posted the same wrong info on the GameFaqs board! I'll just wait for ExMortis to repost there.
I too know for sure lands don't go back to lvl 1 if creature is destroyed by spells or moved away. Its one of my pet peeves that when i destroy an enemy creature on a high toll land by spells, only for him/her to land on it the next turn and place an even more powerful creature on it or my own creature done in by spells and enemy lands and place creature on it, both cases with toll intact.

Thanks for the heads up, Akina. I don't pay a whole lot of attention to the Gamefaqs boards anymore but I like people to know how the game works. I just pasted that post over.

I know. I tried blasting creatures off levelled up lands and the lands retained their levels. Thanks for the Mullyn tip. I haven't gotten him on my opponent choices yet but I'll just try to get this medal when I have.

I've blasted an enemy's creature off a land, and then landed there (and claimed it) 2 turns later. The land was level 4 when the computer had it, but when I got it, it was level 1.

Oops...when i said toll intact, i meant level intact. Everybody knows toll also depends on chains. Lord Blade, are you sure the AI didn't sell off the land to pay off a toll? Cause seriously man you seem to be getting all these strange results, especially with a couple of medals that nobody else is getting, and i mean besides your friends.

You know, insults are mean. But yeah, I know what I saw. It's how I've always been doing it. I blast the computer's creatures (or have mine blasted) all the time. Whoever claims the land afterwards always ends up with a level 1 land.

I think I've realized Blade's motivation. It's a joke. He's making stuff up just to mislead people and also because some of us get annoyed when people say things that aren't true. I can't fathom any other reason for his behavior. Actually, as jokes go, it's not bad, except I still find it annoying just because I love Culdcept so much and like people to understand the game.

Please, let's not resort to name-calling. I would imagine that almost everyone on this Forum has posted information at one time or another that they thought to be true, only to have it disproved later. I know that I have been in that position a time or two.
I'm not saying that this is the case with what Lord Blade is writing, but the best way to determine whether or not any of the information posted here is accurate or not is to test it yourself. It doesn't serve any purpose at all to hurl insults at other Members.
Let's all keep our discussions respectful, friendly and high-toned, and leave the personalities out of it, OK?
We now return to our regular programming....

You know, it might be the case that the use of certain Spells to eliminate the creatures on occupied lands might return the level of the land to 1, and that others don't. I can't provide you with any specific examples, but I know that there have been times when I expected to be occupying a Territory that had been previously raised and later vacated, only to find that the level of the land had decreased to 1 for some reason.
All I'm suggesting is that, perhaps, a more detailed study would be useful. For example, "I used (this) spell against a (specific) creature on a Level (#) land, and once the creature was destroyed, the land was Level (##)."
Just a thought....
