I just received the X-Play newsletter this morning (a show on TechTV, airing DirecTV channel 354), and they're taking a look at Culdcept tonight! Since I sent them an E-mail a a month or two ago asking them to review it, I'm rather interested to see if this game is introduced via my E-mail.....
Anyway, here's the newsletter text:
A NOTE FROM ADAM
There are some things you can rely on nowadays. Winter is cold and somehow that's always news. Someone is always yelling on MSNBC, and "Ninja Gaiden" will be delayed less than a week before its posted release date. That's a real pity because I'm running out of things to play. I mean really running out. I'm looking at ancient PC games like "Kingpin" and "Nox" to see if they are as middle of the road as I remembered them. But I digress.
What happens when you mix Monopoly with monsters and magic? You get "Culdcept," a strange and addictive card-battle title. We also have "American Idol" Is it good? Will Pat Buchanan pose nude for Maxim? But when it's this bad, it's a whole lot of fun to review. Watch this and more on tonight's show.
