Ever notice that against the computer on high goal boards the computer will designate someone to roll nothing but the exact number needed to force someone to hit nothing but forts, temples and shrines so that they cant hit land? Ever notice this person also has there dice always land them on whatever gets leveled the highest in front of them? Ever notice this person IS YOU!?!?! Yeah lets talk about that.

I've had some real crap luck games sure. But, i've also had some real sweet games too. I try not to pay too close attention to it, but when you've set up a few deathtarps it seems the chance of them landing on that spot goes way down. IF the game cheats too much, I cheat back, i whip out the gameshark, or gameshark like device, open my hacked file, and play through a few blissful rounds with pure immortality. Then i go back and play my real game some more. Doesn't always help, but, sometimes it's just what I need to get back in the mood.

There are a few discussions up here on this very topic. Dice rigging is part of "console board games'" way of life. It's one of the very easy ways to make the computer competitive. You'll notice that the "luck" or "unluck" does eventually change, you just have to be prepared for it is all.
Also, one of the folks working for the company that makes Culdcept did some tests regarding this and came to the conclusion that the computer didn't cheat. His tests were completely bogus however and anyone can easily see how his methods did NOT address the issue at ALL.
His results showed that there was a balance of rolls making all spaces on the board equal, it did not take into account anything else.

Make no mistake, Saga is just as bad, if not worse. I like how now the cpu will draw counter cards the round after you make a good play. Like it'll draw and cast debility on a creature, then draw and cast Lunatic Light next round. Or draw Wall Transform the moment a Kelpie comes out.
There was also one game where I rolled 4 and under for around 30 rounds out of a 50 or 51 round game. Thank goodness for Kelpie, there. I also seem to have a "tendency" to roll many 1s in a row. I think my record is eight in a row.
