I was practicing one day, just trying to increase my card stock...And I'm playing Ryvern...I forget where, might've been Cratos.
I had gone around the board forever trying to get Red Land, and finally I got out my much-loved Old Willow.
He finally lands on it after I get it to level 5, and he summons a monster on it!
I say "...Okay...umm....why??"
So I figure he has an item to change things up, so luckily I had a Gremlin Amulet on me to break his item. HE USED NONE.
What he SUMMONED was Baldanders, that funny little thing that randomly changes into other creatures.
I was scared until I saw a cute little card image with "20 STR" under it. I laughed and watched as it would be destroyed -- All of a sudden I read the words [shadow=red,left,300]"MANDATORY RELOCATION"[/shadow] and Old Willow went SOMEWHERE across the board to some lame Level 1 Green Land, and that thing (Which I learned was called Little Gray) took my land!! >_<
So when I need practice, I pick Ryvern a lot, just so I can make him suffer like I did, and then some.

What happened is even more unlikely than you realize. It doesn't say it on the card, but Little Gray only has a 50% chance of effecting the "mandatory" relocation (I learned this the hard way). So Ryvern deserves twice as much punishment as you thought he did.

Augh!! I didn't even realize it was so bad!!
So you mean out of ALL the cards in the game, he turned into THAT, PLUS he got the lucky 50% of the draw and did such a horrible thing to my Old Willow!?
Man...I should start a versus game with him right now.

Yep. Make him bleed! There were a couple other creatures he could have turned into that would have sucked too. Wraith and Basilisk might have gotten lucky and killed your poor Willow. Leveler would have lowered the level of the land (which isn't NEARLY as bad as what did happen, but it's still a pain in the ass). Igneous Fatui, if it somehow survived long enough to take a swing at you. That's all I can think of, am I missing any? So maybe four creatures out of the two hundred-odd possibilities. Ouch.

Don't forget Werewolf or Cockatrice - being changed into a Wolf or Wall of Stone isn't high on the "fun" list, either.
