I know this is a totally newbie question but I can't seem to get a creature that has the "can be used as an item" ability as an item during combat offense of defense.
Curiosly I can use items just fine. During combat I try to highlight the creature that can be used as an item but it is dimmed out like it can't be used.
The computer AI uses creatures as items all the time against me an it's really getting frustrating.
What am I doing wrong?
Also, some creatures have the "territory" ability... 1) If the creature has a color, does it HAVE TO be on that color to have the territory ability accessible... 2) Do I have to physically pass the creature then access "territory ability" or can I use it any time?

You can use a creature as an "item" only if your fighting creature has the "support" ability. "Bloody Pudding" and "Pirate" are two examples of such cards. As for the territory ability, 1) No, you can use this ability whatever the color of the territory is. 2) Yes, you have to pass the creature if you want to use its territory ability, except if you land on a Fort / Castle or if you use Telegnosis. I hope I have been helpful

So let me get this straight...
TWO conditions must be met then...the first is one of the creatures must have the "can be used as an item" and second, the other creature must have the "support feature"....or can ANY "support" featured creature receive support from any creatyure.
Thanks...

You can use any creature as long as the one which is fighting has the support ability (and, of course, as long as you have enough G to summon it ^^)

I agree. One example was when I was battling Selena. She likes using green and red creatures, and some of them have the "support" ability, like Valkeria, Woodfolk and Mage. If you wanted to fight with support, you first have to either "attack" or "defend" with the creature with that ability. In this case, if you had a Woodfolk, Ninja and Minotaur in your hand (as Selena could). If you are attacking my Knight (50/50), you first must select the Woodfolk. You cannot do it the other way around, selecting Minotaur or Ninja, because neither has that ability. After selecting Woodfolk, THEN you can select either Ninja or Minotaur, depending on which you think will be enough to beat the Knight. Now, a number of other things apply, like; is the Knight injured, does he have some bonus, will I use some form of defense, ect. But I hope you get the point.
