I was attempting to obtain the medal for toll collected over three thousand. The Gnome seemed like a reasonable choice. Then I stumbled upon Boggart. It has the effect of doubling the territory's toll. The problem is (that I later found out in a furious rage) the skill description does not list the toll increase. This bipartially explains why the effect does not transfer to the game. Poor Boggart and its identity crisis.
Then, I replaced Boggart with a Gnome and was less than a hundred away from the medal. Who knew that 9000G was not enough of a limit to get the medal? I am now in the process of calming down.
That should take about another hour.

Are you saying the Boggart does not double the toll of a land. Even though the card says it does.

Yes, it does not. You can look at the card in the deck creation area by pressing "X" to see the card in full. Press "L1" once and that brins you from the stat page to the ability page. There is no listing of a discription for the doubling of toll effect for Boggart. On the Gnome's card there is text explaining the effect of 1.5 times the toll.
I still haven't got this medal, but I only have one Gnome.

Are you telling me Boggart does double the toll? And if so, under what circumstance?

Under every circumstance. Like gnome, it doesn't actually SAY until someone pays the toll...

Under every circumstance.
I have not once witnessed Boggart double the toll as an after effect to a player paying toll. In a 18000G versus battle at Promsdale, with a chain of 11 red creatures (two of them boggarts all in the outer portion) there was no toll paid out paid out greater than 22XX G. The last move made by the CPU was landing on a level five land with said toll. There was no increase to the toll's amount.
Any help would be gladly appericiated.

I've never seen boggart's ability fail to work. The enemy will pay the toll and a dialogue box will say something like "Boggart effect; Toll 2200-->4400." I'm a loss regarding your problem.

I've never had a problem w/ Boggart or Gnome. Infact i have gotten the Avaricious Smile medal (gained more than 3k G in a single toll) from both a Gnome and a Boggart for my two characters. I also have no idea why you said the Boggart card does not mention the x2 toll bonus when it clearly does. Its on the 1st page below its stats. I'm thinking you misundertood the x1.5 or x2 toll bonus works for all your green or red lands, when it only applies to the land occupied by the Gnome or Boggart.

I do understand all of this that has been stated, yet Boggart does not happen to work for me in the said criteria. I am at an impass.

Is this land occupied by a Boggart? You did not mention this in your post. If it is then yours is truely a unique case and i'm at a loss too.

It MUST be Boggart's land to have that effect!? (Cuss Word) I had thought about that. Time for a controll movement deck. Thank you.
