Just a quick question, I tried looking for an answer everywhere to no avail. When playing versus, and you set Capture Card before battle. How does this work, will you actually lose a card to the winner? Does it copy a card of yours and give it to the winner? How does it choose the card you loose? If anyone has advice or ideas in regards to Capturing Cards in versus mode, please let me know. Thank you.

Yes, if capture card is on the loser of the match will lose the number of cards set in the options before the match. The cards lost are chosen at random and are chosen from all the cards you have in your collection. So if you lose a match and had card capture set to 4, then you would lose 4 cards from your collection and your opponent would gain those 4 you lost. Obviously if there is more than 1 opponent each player would lose 4 cards and the winner would gain 4 from each on top of what cards were awarded from the board afterwards. In a 4 player match at the Heavenly Altar, for example, the winner could get 28 cards (4 from each loser and 16 for being the winner on that board). It's very evil since people value their cards and don't want to lose them, so it's not played at all in my circle anymore.

I use the card capture when card farming. That way when I win a battle not only do I gain the cards that I win, but I get four additional cards from the deck of the opposing player, (Which is me anyways since I am playing both characters.)
