Okay Zenith is a hidden character in Dunnan you can fight by returning there when your at the end of the game. If you beat him 3 times you can fight Najaran and you MUST beat her on your first time to unlock her otherwise she never appears again. Also if you defeat Zenith with a difference of more than 5000g i think theres a medal. G might be wrong here but I got a medal for beating him with a huge difference in g.
Ive done all this simply by packing tons of mana killers and mana raisers and then by going PURE OFFENSE on his cards because he will kill ANYTHING you place. He is by far the most terrifying thing I faced in the game. beating him ONCE is hard enough at dunnan but 3 times was INSANE.
Ill say this...i felt I got lucky using my kill or be killed tactics to achieve all this and im just thankfull its all over. How have some of you faced this man-beast?

Ahhhh Zenith......he is quite the accomplished Cepter isnt he? With a face that only a mother could love, which also possesses a cats-eye, thats just downright creepy (I actually lost sleep over this eye). Zenith ranks in the top-10 of "Worlds Most Frustrating Moments".......last time i checked he was ranked #6 ....... But enough with the jokes - Zenith is just an all-around terrible opponent to deal cards with. Not only does he have some of the Best Offensive/Defensive Creatures & Weapons in the game, but his scary-high intelligent AI is what will hurt you the most.....He has the greatest AI combat skills of all characters, which is bad, as it means you're going to have to think a few steps ahead of him at all times, if you wish to keep your expensively-tolled lands. Notable Cards of Zenith: OffenseSword of the Falcon - pesky item that not only gives +20ST, but also gives 1st attack feature. Very versatile card. Claymore - Extremely strong ST-raising sword (+50!!) Evil Blast - Far and away his most dangerous card. Evil Blast is horrid spell that will deal 30HP of damage to a creature's Base HP. many creatures in the game can go down in ONE SHOT from this spell. DefenseGremlin Amulet - Annoying item that destroys any items used by the opponent in combat. he will save it for his highest lands, to ensure you wont get an edge. Gaseous Form - Arguably the best defensive item in the game. It just basically yields all damage that is NOT induced by a scroll. If you see this in his hand - youre in trouble. Plate Mail - Really High HP-Boosting Armor (+50HP). It can be very difficult to find ways of adding 50HP more of damage onto your attacking creature... Also not that it doesnt help that your in Dunnan, the smallest regular map this game has to offer.....Cant really give strategies here; the only thing you need to win is a GREAT starting hand. I beat him 3 times and got that "Knight of Honor" medal as well.

Yeah I think he beats everyone the first time around. I beat him twice both times he seemed to be cursed and landed on my leveld up Gnome / Bogart, the second time I actually got the Proof of knighthood medal or whatever for beatimg by more then 5000, I think he was below 500G. I also used him (as my ally) to get the Proof of friendship medal lol, That old cane did not stand a chance

haha....well im sure Goligan (Old Cane) didnt stand a chance. Pitting arguably the smartest, deadilest AI character the game has to offer, against a Cane that thinks owning a single Level-1 land, and buying 5 symbols is going to acquire victory....is absolute madness....
You're right though, Zenith is one hell of a partner. Unlike Selena and Aldha, you dont have to spend every round cringing over the suspense of what stupid-@$$ move he's going to pull off next. And im quite sure that Zenith isn't going to cast Fairy Light on you when youre 2 spaces away from touching the castle (many a veteran know who n what im referring to there...).
Zenith has alot of offensive firepower to use alongside you, which is quite nice, as he will not only ensure protection of his own lands (keeping your G-value high), but he is also ever-so-aggressive that he'll target ANY opposing lands that he sees as a threat. If you can work in unison with him, there is no match you can lose...
Good Cards to have w/Zenith
Magic Bolt/Evil Blast - although he already possess both of these attack spells, if you have some, its just an all around good thing. 60HP of damage (2 evil blasts) to the base-HP of a land-owned creature is going to be fatal, no matter who the creature. This is the ideal remedy for that Level-5 enemy land that you just dont have the b@lls and/or tools to land on. ;-)
Land Protection - If you have more than one of this card in your deck, then split them between your best lands, and Zenith's. If you just have one, then assess the situation and determine whos in dire need of it. From my own personal experience, if you Land-Protect a creature of Zenith - HE WILL PROTECT THIS LAND BY ALL MEANS NECESSARY. With this card alone, your chances of winning the duel should increase...
Telekenesis - A good card to have overall, but is extra nice when paired up with an AI partner that has brains. The strategy requires you looking into your partners hand EVERY SINGLE ROUND, to get a good idea of what kinda of damage hes capable of doing. Try and find an area on the map where a fairly-leveled opposing creature is a neighbor to one of Zenith's low cretins - this is where you want to unleash this card. The idea im promoting here is "Stealing-the-Credit"......
1) You cast "Telekenesis" on Zenith's creature 2) Select the neighboring enemy to challenge
If you peeped Zenith's hand, and realized that he has the right cards to take out the trash, he'll happily employ them in-battle, while you can just casually sit back and watch as he takes over the new territory. This is great, as you not only take down an opposing threat, but you also gain a new territory to call your own.

The last time I beat Zenith, I did so by loading the deck with defense creatures, such as Wall of Ice and Wall of Stone, and Invisibility spells. With Invisibility, I didnt have to worry about that pesky Evil Blast.
