What kind of book are you using bud? Are you building it towards a specific goal? If you are able post it up here and ill see if I might be able to help a bit… and remember if you know what kind of book your opponent is using you can tailor yours to be stronger against it then change it later when you move on.. also you can make a copy of your deck so as to experiment with changes if you fear not being able to recreate it.. I am constantly editing my books to refine and even totally change how they work that’s one of the most enjoyable things about the game for me EXPERIMENTATION… or you can send me a PM if you feel more comfortable…

I think one of my biggest problems was that i was using creatures that cost to much to summon. At the start of the game i would have a hand full of creatures i couldn't even summon. One question i did have though is, is it better to concentrate on 1 or 2 creature types or have a variety of all 4? Another problem i have is that i can never tell when i should use a weapon/armor, sometimes when i use a weapon to add STR i have way to much STR and could have won the bvattle wit much less STR. Same with armor, sometimes if i use it i have way to much life and would have survived with much less health. Thanks for your help.

all i can say to that is parctice makes perfect lol sorry but thats just one of those things you have to learn by doing,,, as in most games but keep trying and you will notice little things you didnt before and capitalize on them also as far as creature type variety in my personal experiance i have noticed that focusing on using creatures that have abilities or functions that coincide with my spells and items is a advantage so if i have more than one lets say for example ninja that gets critical hits with scrolls and i have a few scrolls in the deck it would most likely be a good idea to put as many ninjas in as possible if i am using scrolls to increase the likelyhood of drawing a ninja etc... same goes with spell cards if there is a certain effect you want to see happen in a match try and increase the likelyhood of drawing it with multiple copies and similar spells.
also try and remember that the Gcost of any given card does not determine if the card is usefull or not some of the cheapest cards are the best and some of the more expensive ones i wouldnt even consider using (might just be a style prefference) but look at the cost to preformance ratio you should find some of the ceaper cards give you just as much bang for your buck if not more
for creature types you want to pay attention to the cost if you have 5 different creatures that require G+green territory and only 1 regular creature you will have a tough time early game... try and balance that out also
hope that helps and wasnt too awfull confusing
