Been a while since I played through the campaign, but I think that was Cratos 2, the cool map with the squares. Probably one of the best things I found for beating the story mode was to use Kelpie or Old Willow. On this map particularly, I shot for the water spaces, and put my Kelpie on the space next to the castle and won pretty quickly. Ahh, the good ol' days when I used to use those guys. Anyway, make sure you have defense items handy if you're gonna do that, or cast simulacrum on it so it won't die (I don't think Leo or Morroc use anythign with scroll attack, unless Morroc has the Nuclear Fusion with that book. Just shatter it or something if he does). Anyway, if you don't have those guys, then you should I would suggest using Red and Green creatures, as you shouldn't have as much competition on those spaces. Make sure you have helpful spells and items, and none of those dumb weak useless ones. Sorry I can't be of much help, I really haven't played the game in a while, and I don't know what cards you have. But, I wish you the best of luck.

Yeah it was Cratos 2, I'm going to disagree a little with Ace here in that while still somewhat effective, Old Willow and Kelpie were not nearly as devastating as in other maps for these reasons:
Kelpie- Has a requirement of one blue land and you have to roll very specifically in order to land on either of the blue spaces that Morroc and Leo must step on while circling the castle. Leo plays blue so every time he lands on an unoccupied territory, he'll drop a creature, Morroc drops a creature wherever the hell he is and will eventually switch them out for the Anubias, which never dies. The other problem is that since Leo uses blue and is an agressive player, if you have a levelled up Kelpie, he will constantly battle you for that territory using "move" abilities and one of his favorite items is the flame tongue which does critical against blue creatures.
Old Willow- With twice the land requirement as the Kelpie and particularly against creature dropping Morroc, the Old Willow can be a challenge to get out. Especially if not levelled up as Morroc will fight for level one territorries if properly equipped and Leo fights a good 3/4 of the time.
Honestly, the best strategy is to play these two against each other and remember that they are not allies. Leo uses Banishing Rays which destroy neutral creatures as well as Elemental Rage which takes off half the HP of any creature that doesn't match the land requirement. Leo is definitely the more violent of the two and will often fight instead of paying a toll no matter where he lands. Morroc is a lot more defensive and will cast Simulacrum on his creatures as well as play Anubias, Zombie Dragon and Nue.
Ace has a good point in that a red/green deck works pretty well, especially if you build it more to a first strike deck- (Vampire, Gargoyle, Chimera). Due to the layout of the land, one of the best strategies is really to mind your own business and build up lands as quick as possible while taking out your opponents at every oppertunity. Leo will kill off Morroc's high-toll neutral creatures with Banishing Ray, so its a good chance to try to take some high level lands with no work. The Summoner + Telekinesis combo works very well on this stage as well as Rusting Leo and then attacking one of his higher level lands.
It's very easy to avoid tolls in this stage, so many high toll traps aren't as effective as making as much money as possible. Use Haste, Manna and Permission to generate as much income as possible the Boggart and Gnome can be particularly effective as long as they receive some action. (Once again though- tolls are very easy to avoid)
Best of luck and keep us posted!

After I beat the campaign, and didn't like my deck much, I tried buyilding a "combo deck", which incorporated Old Willow and Kelpie (mostly Old Willow, cause Kelpie can be blasted away easier). I haven't played with it in a while, and while it works, it is very much mising consistancy. Theres something I'm missing in it, but I will post it anyway and hope that you can tweek it on your own and make it work for you.
Oh, also, I tried to keep it combo-tastic, so I use support creatures and Executor for kills, as well as Nuclear Fussion and a scroll critical hitting guy (Wizard or Ninja), which deals 75, goes through land bonuses, almost unstoppable. Anyway, here is the deck.
Neutral Creatures 3 Bandit 2 Cray Idol 3 Ninja
Red Creatures 4 Executor 4 Old Willow 4 Pyro Drake 2 Valkeria
Blue Creatures 2 Bookworm 2 Fate 2 Kelpie 2 Wizard
Items 3 Counter Amulet 3 Gaseous Foam 2 Nuclear Fussion 1 Talisman
Spells 2 Chaos Panic 2 Rust 2 Simulacrum 1 Soltis 4 Wind of Hope
Ok, keep in mind that I don't have 4 of every card, so certain cards I would use more of if I had them. Also, the blue is pretty weak in the deck (I mainly keep it in cause the bookworm is amazing). Also, occationally, I have trouble meet land requirements. Not as often as you'd think, but it does happen if they like to kill my guys a lot and I can't protect them. This could be fixed by taking out the blue and adding in some more protective spells (Shatter and such), and more red creatures (I like Cait Sith and Gas Cloud cause they doesn't die easily). Anyway, do with it what you will. And feel free to criticize me and make fun of me cause my deck stinks, I don't mind, I know it stinks.

Talisman is another special card. I believe you get it when you earn 45 metals, along with the Dragon Helm. You get many more cards than just Sanctum Guard and Soltis for getting metals. Off the top of my head, I remember getting Leonight, Sanctum Guard, Plymorph, Lightcraft, Darkcraft, Soltis, Talisman, Dragon Helm, Astral Queen, Tetramorph, Energy Flash. I think thats all of them, not 100% though. Anyway, back to the point, the Talisman is an accesory item (the ring icon), 100G, prevents the enemy's attack, destroys their item, casts land protection on the defense creature at end of combat.

The Talisman rawks. Easily my favorite item.
Ace- I like that deck and used to have one similar- it must be the thing with us seasoned players, Kelpie and Old Willows are godsends, then you get bored of them when you realize how easy you can win with them- they kind of act like training wheels since the computer is at a huge advantage in the beginning of the game.
My deck has the same ideas, though I incorporate 2 Upheavals, 2 Wild Growth's and 2 Replace;s (a godsend card!!)

hehe, yeah. Upheaval and stuff was the last cards I cut from the deck. Replace, while being a good card, is too overpriced for my tastes. I don't play with the deck often, but it was the deck I used to win the 3v1 battle. Played on a big map where they can keep going around in a circle, and they all got trapped, and I eventually won. Not sure how I woulda won that battle with any other book, it was a really hard battle.

I do believe you can get most of them from Verses. For any questions reguarding metals, the Metal Hunting section of this forum is very helpful.
