Any way to slow it down so that you have a chance to see what cards are dealt to the computer? or at least slow down the messages so you can see what spells they use on you? The windows pop up and disappear so quickly that you really only have a split second to glance at them. I tried adjusting the message speed in the options, but it looks like that only slowed down the speed of their dialogue. There a way to do this? I'm on the first level of the Crato tournament and already frustrated to no end with the stuff the CPU keeps pulling on me... I'd at least like to see what magic spells they are casting on me every other turn. Unfortunately, I can't read 20 words per second... lol.

LOL- I feel like I've answered this question 10 times. Sorry, fellow cepter, there is no way to to slow the card deal or card selection for the computer nor is there a way to view the enemies deck without a card (Shatter for instance) I promise, as what happens to everyone else, is that simply by playing the game enough and acquiring the cards you will eventually know what the spell is by sight, by Cepter and even know the magic cost. One thing that may help you is that if spells are being cast on your or their creatures, point the hand on the target creature with the status effect on it (it will show a white bubble with a different symbol above it) and the status effect will be shown at the bottom of the creature display.
This may help though, Ill go ahead and list all the spells that you've seen up to Cratos 1 that I can recall of the top of my head- If anyone remembers any others, feel free to jump in:
Ryvern in Dunnan: Slow- A picture of a man with his side/back to you with white hands grabbing his feet- when cast, the target cepter can only roll 1-3
Weakness- Picture of a goblin looking monster struggling to pick up a sword. The target creatures strength will be 0 eternally.
Fly- Picture of a flying creature. For one turn, the cepter who cast it will roll two dice.
Zagol in Dombwood- Doesn't use spells
Selena in Mathessburg:
Silence- Picture of a man without a mouth- Target cepter will be unable to summon creatures for two turns
Shrink- Picture of a Dwarf holding a tiny whale in his hand. Target creature's MHP is decreased by 10
Wind of Hope- Picture of a mystic looking woman's face from the side holding cards. Cepter will draw 2 cards.
Holy Word 6- All of the Holy Words look simaliar, with strange symbolic carvings of whatever number the Holy Word is (0,1,2,3,6, or 10). The target cepter will roll whatever the Holy Word number will be, good for avoiding territorries, or for forcing cepters to land on yours, or to send them to other areas of the board
Leo in Atla:
Growth Body- Picture of a giant dog breaking a house. Target creatures MHP increases by 10.
Vitality- Picture of a shadowy creature at the mouth of a cave. In battle, target creature will gain +20ST and +20HP.
Haste- Picture of a Man running ahead of ostriches. Target cepter will roll between 6-8 for two rounds.
Plainleap- Picture of a man levitating/walking over land. Sends the caster to the nearest Yellow Land
Magic Bolt- Picture of a monster being struck by lighting in his abdomen. Casts 20 damage to any creature at the choice of the cepter
Ryvern/Luthien in The Temple of the Medium
Haunt- Everyone's favorite. Picture of a man being attacked by a ghost. Youll know if this one was played on you, because the computer controls you for two turns.
Drought- Picture of a desert wasteland. No changes can be made to the level of the territory.
Anti-Element- Picture of a monster struggling to climb up a desert dune- Target creature will not gain land bonus in battle.
Fog- Picture of a dragon covered in mist. When landing on a space thats occupied with a "Fogged" Creature, the Cepter who landed on it will only have to pay half the toll.
Mine- Picture of a green metal mine. The space you occupy when you cast Mine becomes booby trapped and the first Cepter to land exactly on that space loses half of their magic.
Drain Magic- Picture of a man's face being sucked away. The cepter who cast it will take 30% of the target Cepter's Magic.
Manna- Picture of a woman in a church praying- Cepter who cast it will gain their lap number x 50 in G for free.
Holy Word 0- Picture of a big 0- target cepter will not move the next turn, but will still have a turn (different from "Bind" which skips the target cepters turn)
Disease- Picture of a very sick looking person on his/her knees. During battle, creature will lose -20 HP and -20 ST.
Pickett/Ryvern in Rabbid
Backwards- Strange looking picture of a featureless person standing on a small creature. Target cepter will move backwards for one turn
Ice Storm- Picture of a blizzard. Casts 20 Damage on all Red Creatures
Fire Explosion- LOL..it looks like a Fire Explosion. Casts 20 Damage on all Blue Creatures
Mass Growth- Picture of a giant bunny, deer and cat. All creatures gain 5 MHP.
Dream Terrain- Picture of a strange landscape. Target cepter will gain half of whatever tolls are collected until reaching the castle.
Leo/Ahlda in Durhan
Barrier- Picture of a man surrounded by a light shield. Target cepter can not be the target of spells and territory abilities for 5 turns.
Relief- Picture of two creatures waving to each other. Changes places for two of your placed creatures.
Erasure- Picture of a still grassland. Status effects on all Cepters, creatures and territories are erased.
Blackout- Picture of a woman surrounded by darkness. Target cepter will not collect tolls for 2 turns.
Holy Word 3- Target cepter will roll a 3 next turn. Adhla loves to use this when you've landed on the Shrine or the Prophet heading towards the Warp, because it will send you there- nasty Rock-look alike ahole.
Zagol/Ryvern- Temple of the Medium
Zagol still doesn't use spells and I can't remember if Ryvern utlizes any new ones.
Pickett/Selena- Cratos 1
Fairy Light- Picture of a man's face looking at tiny shiny fairy. Cepter will gain how many cards s/he is holding x10 in G at the beginning of every turn until reaching the castle.
Influence- Picture of Mountains being summoned over a body of water. Target land becomes the land type that the cepter controls the most. (for instance, if you have 5 red lands occupied only, and you place a red creature on a green land- if you cast Influence, the land will change to red.)
Peace- Picture of two creatures shaking hands in the midst of two armies. Target creature can not be invaded, but no tolls wills be collected.
Thats all I can think of off the top of my head, I know I'm missing some- I'll come back later if I remember any others out of nowhere.
Hope that helps!
