i can't believe i've finally gotten 50 medals. it was years ago when i first got culdcept, and when i first saw that empty 50-medal screen, and then read some of the descriptions of how ridiculous those medals were. back then, i was thrilled to start a very slow journey towards the number fifty. 2 years and 194 hours of gameplay later, here i am. and i'm a better man for it. for any of you who think it's impossible, just keep on truckin'. in case anyone's curious, my second to last medal was the 100-victories (against cpu), and my last medal was the bundlegear medal (assemble 3 at once). time to take a deep breath, sigh, and reccolect. ...*tear* ......

I just need the 100 victories medal and I'm done. My results list says I have 115 victories, but I'm sure there are a lot of multiplayer rounds in there. I guess I'll just have to keep moving forward and hope for the best.

My last medal was Bundlegear too. I think someone else said that was theres. Seems to be a common theme, I wonder why. Now you just need to get 4 copies of each non-E card. Have fun

Hmmm... I'm currently at 36 medals, and this thread made me wonder what my final medal would be... The ones that I still have left that sound really difficult include Denizen of the Sanctuary, King of the Wasteland, and the Gooba and Powder Eater medals. Even so, I kind of think that my last will be the Victor among Victors medal... I haven't even reached the 50 mark yet, so 100 victories feels like it'll take an eternity. This site has really helped me with strategies and deck suggestions for medal hunting, though, I have to say. I've been able to acheive 11 medals in only 5 or so battles, which impresses me, considering how casually I usually play. Thanks very much to everyone who has contributed! As for the trend of having the Mechanical Duke medal be one's last medal, I find that kinda odd. I was able to acheive it with just one of each Battle Gear, and a high goal. It makes me a little jealous, actually, to imagine that people out there might have everything else already, and that that's all they would need! Anyway, I'm working hard toward the completed medal set... can't wait to join these ranks! I agree that seeing the medal board fill up with those neat looking badges is very satisfying. -- Cleric

It's not that Mechanical Duke is a hard metal to get, it just happened to be the last one for me. Maybe I subliminally thought it was the most boring, or easiest, and therefore did it last; who knows. I had 4 B.G. Alpha and only 1 B.G. Beta (I still only have one Beta), so I ran Lightcraft, and Prophecy, and Teleport (to land on the prophet), and Revival, and Winds of Hope and Find to get there faster. It was a bit of a pain only having 1 B.G. Beta, but I set the limit to only 10k, and ended up with 5 Bundlegears on the board. Oh well, it's all done now.

For the 100 victories medal, do the games have to be 10000+, or do the quick 5000 games suffice???

I'm still working on 100 wins. That's all I have left. I lost track of how many wins I have, though.
