For those of you that have gotten this far into the game, I was curious about how you beat Zeneth. After I won the tournament and the Odin Lance, I went back to the first town, to beat up on Goligan a bit more. That's when I ran into Zeneth (or Zenith, I can't keep track of all those names, and mine too). Zeneth beat me to a pulp, forcing me to retreat to play Selena at her place, and lost to her too because at this point in the game her cards change.
It is ironic that I beat Zeneth with a deck designed specifically to beat Selena. After losing to Selena, I had to backtrack and find her strengths. She loves the Christmas colors (Red and Green) and uses a bunch of trinkets. So I took out all my red cards, and brought in 2 Ice Storms (20 damage to ALL red creatures). She plays a Lava Drake, Cat Sith, Minotaur and Valkirie, 2 of each. She also loves greens in Sage, Nymph, Woodfolk, Dwarves and Oodradek (2 of each). I loaded my deck with damaging spells like Magic Bolt (3) and Binding Mist (3). I used 2 Shatters and a few other spells to have her discard cards or not play creatures. I also used the Book worm (ability to destroy any card in her hand), and another creature that allowed me to paralyze a creature in play. Combined with my creatures (LeoKnight, Paladin, Knight, Centaur, ect) my plan was simple; I let Selena place as many reds as she wanted, I was trying to get my 2 Ice storms together so I can take out all her reds in 2 consecutive moves. Any greens she put out I would attempt to paralyze, making them useless when I attack. I had to do that because she had 4 petrify stones, which messed me up when I played her earlier. If you put a "curse" on one of her creatures, she many times had to play a "Peace" or "Fog" on her own creatures, which helped me too.
Once I got her gameplan, it was very easy to beat her. After losing to her 2 out of the first 3, I was able to beat her the last 12 times, some closer than others, but a win is a win (and the cards that go with it).
I know there are endless ways to play and win, which is what is cool about Culdcept, but it is funny that I was able to take the same deck and play Zeneth and win. Luck does play SOME part, though.
