I usually play long games, so barometz is one of my favorites. I use Growth Body, Mutation and Vitality to build him up, then use him as my own ATM machine. If I use haste and fly to get more laps in, this card really pays off. Having a Dark Master to give him a slight boost isnt a bad idea either.

having one or two telegnosis is fun with barometz as well. You can have money building laps with him where you do little else but keep pumping him for cash. barometz + telegnosis + fairy light also earns mass cash quickly.

Culdcept Saga gave Barometz a makeover as Potato Folk.
They have the 0 cost territory ability to gain 20x number of green creatures placed, but also when they die, you collect 10x number of red creatures placed.
