I didn’t see a thread like this but was curious as to what others found favorable, now I don’t think it even has to be a good card or one you would even play but one of the things about this game that really piqued my interest and set the hook for addiction was the varying types of extremely well done card art, I was huge magic the gathering player/collector and one of my favorite things about that game was the artwork. This game has a lot of the same structure as magic and play but with some entertaining differences.
So I will start it off I have 455 different cards and I cant choose between 2 of them for my favorite artwork I like them both equally in different ways but here goes
Tied for first place: 1) Succubus (come on pure evil hotness) 1) Flame Lord (really someone not to meet in a dark alley)
Second place: 2) Cornfolk (they look tasty) Third place: 3) Grimalkin (not sure why I just like it)
Honorable mention:
All of the gallery artwork it’s just a cool aspect

Ooooooh, here's a topic where it's impossible to have definate favorites...
Some of the cards I always enjoy looking at are:
Sanctum Guard: She's UBER shiny!
Astral Queen: Looks like she's calling down the neutral thunder on your butt.
Squonk: Awwwwwwww...
Megarodon: AAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!! :-)
Baldanders: Oh the potential... Just by looking at the picture, you can't wait to play this guy to see what he'll turn into.
Nuclear Fusion: Just thinking about that vortex makes my sphincter tighten in fear.
Nike: She just looks so Roman. Classy.
Mass Growth: Isn't my pet rabbit so cute? He's such a cute widdle fellow, isn't h-eeEEEEAAAAHHH!!
Fire Explosion and... the spell that works like Fire Explosion, except against red creatures: Just... ouch.

Well...i got a few Favorite Cards....both battlewise, and just for their sheer looks:
In-Battle 1) Charon - w/o scrolls, da man don't lose a freakin fight! 2) Nike - (1st attack & Paralyze......) need we say more?? 3) Cait Sith - may be small...but is a tough lil SOB, due to his neutalizing of 40+ST opponents, and is untargetable to boot.
The Looks 1) Succubus - Just lookin at the card, u can understand why the male creatures' ST goes to 0...haha 2) Gladiator - Im sure da chicks dig his Abs of steel...and long hair blowing in the wind......he also has that STONE-COLD face...priceless 3) Fighter - Notice how he is extremely puny, compared to his fellow Humanoid Fighters?? (ex. Knight, Paladin,)..he looks like he beggin his owner "please dont put me in the fight!" haha

My favorite art card has to be Bundle Gear. Makes me want to go to all the trouble to put it together just to look at it.

Creatures(1) Succubus-I cant hide it. I think this card is beautiful. I have fanart of it. (2) Raksas- Even though the sprite sucked his 4 armed scimitar wielding panther ways fill me with glee. Too bad he wasn't put in the artbook I own. (3) Dhampir- Vampire Hunter D? (4) Sanctum Guard- Chroooooooooooooooome (5) A TIE! Migoal/ Gladiator- They're beautiful...and they'll beat the shit out of you. (7) Powder Eater- aww (The rest are all pretty too...except vampire. LOL. Two versions of his card so far and both sucked.) Items(1) Venom- Pretty pot of gooooooo. (2) Magic Shield- Oooooooh...shiny. (3) Rock Biter- This appeals to me because it makes me imagine an angry person in a beard smackin enemies with it and yelling. WHAT? (4) Power Bracelet- Look closely at it. Its filagree is incredible. Props to the artist for that. (5) MASSIVE TIE The elemental shields. Fire,Water, Wind, Earth.GOOOOOO PLANET! Spells(1) TIE Plain Leap/ Forest Leap- I really enjoyed the outfits designed for the characters in these cards. Cosplay? (2) Eclipse- It captures such an eerie mood. (3) Catastrophe- Another card to look closely at. The detail on that city in it is impressive. Artist is deserving of high fives.

Well, I think my two favorite creatures art would be, Migoal and Mad clown. I like the mad clown in general, and whenever possible I include one in my deck (if you can create a kelpie/willow trap, one on either side, it's fun to stick him in the middle and make them that much harder to kill). The art with him juddling those skulls, may not be the most detailed of the cards, but i like it. Migoal, on the otherhand, just looks cool and dangerous (more so than his sprite).

*Year late reply*
For Coolness:
Leoknight- What a bad@ss. Charon- He's like, "I'm on this little boat, and I don't give a **** about your attacks. Mummy- Not a huge fan, but the artist made mummies look cool again. Judgement- Scary to look at.
For Hotness:
Medusa Succubus Dark Elf Dryad Witch Old Willow- o wate nooo! too late.
For Laughs:
Pillar of Flame- Gotta love the dude running out on fire... which is kind of misleading, since it's a defense creature. Gas Cloud- Same reasons as Pillar of Flame. Hurricane- I like to laugh at that guy on the ground. *chuckles to himself* Little Gray- I'm like WTF!!! u en rong gamz0rs!!!!!!!1 Vampire- "Vlah! I have Cool-Aid!" Cornfolk- Man. Made of Corn. Lols ensue. Chonchon- WTF The Hand- Picture someone using a hand on a stick to steal something from their opponent.
