How can you not love this card? The evil laugh is great

Hey what happens when you use Necro Scarab on a fully leveled up land? Does that mean that although the other player beat your monster, they still have to pay?
If so, that would rock!

Yep, if you play a necro scarab on defense, the only way your opponent can avoid paying a toll is to destroy your item. It works the same way as the rare wind creature Mermecoleo ( turns into a dragonfly on death ). Necroscarab is a great card for any deck that has a lot of cheap and/or crappy creatures, so a zombie isn't a big downgrade (or an upgrade even or can be exchanged out at a minimal cost. Ith

I just starting playing the story mode again with a new female character (I heard that the story is slightly different for the two genders). My previous character "twinked" her a bit and she has about 200 cards, but she still doesn't have much variety. Anyway, I tried using cards that I didn't use much of initially and I brought two scarabs with me to fight Ryvern and I completely blew him away. I didn't realize the importance of this card before, it makes one creature immune to death for one fight and guarantees a toll for you. I completely pinched Ryvern at two crucial moments and won 7500 to 200.
By the way, if you give this to a dragon when it is defeated in battle, does it turn into a zombie or a dragon zombie?

There are a lot of ways around this thing, especially if you play someone who uses gremlins or theives... But sometimes, it only takes one toll to break someone to the point of releasing land and for that, this card is WAY better than any gaseous form / shields...
