Well, I'm not far into the game, but for some reason I really like the knight. I think it's mostly because he has some great potential for offense. I certainly haven't seen all of the cards in the game, but I would imagine that the knight must be a great tool for taking down the high-MHP walls like . . . well, wall of ice. What do you guys think of this armor-toting wind warrior?

I agree. The majority of wind monsters are wispy and frail and they rely heavily on first attacks and special evasion abilities (like Sprite or Pegasus). But the Knight is a relatively inexpensive wind creature with great offensive ability. Like you said, he's ideal for taking down defensive creatures (Walls of Stone or Ice, Pillars of Flame, King Tortoises) as well as the Fire and Storm Giants and Grendels, and any of the Lord creatures (like Dagon or Dark Master). If you arm him with only a Sword of the Falcon of the Longsword, he will deal 105-120 damage against these creatures. Plus, since he can wear any armor, he's capable of taking any high-level wind territory away from Zagol, Leo, or Whirlwind and defending it well.

Yeah I FINALY got ONE..... It is indeed a fave, as well as Paladin.
Knight with a few already placed blains creatures on lands gives him an attack bonus, and I like to toss in a nice blade or 2 when I really want to kill something, OR the bandit glove is great too as an accessory when attacking lateraly from a neighboring land... it takes 2 turns, but a sure kill to big PITA leveled up creatures.

Whooa- Yeah Knight remains to date one of my favorite yellow creatures and he was one of the first I yellow creatures I received. Centaurs and Paladins are also two more of my favorites, especially with the Centaurs Recycling ability- Even better than the awesome strength of the Knight is putting a Gouda in an all yellow deck and seeing your ST and DEF go up past 150-200. Whoa.

Agree. I like the Wind creatures a lot. The Knight is cool against 50HP creaures - he's often a target during defense, though. I got my Knight early on, and have at least 6 now. Paladin (have about 3 or 4 of these) is awesome for neutrals and because he uses the piercing power lance and regenerates.
Centaur and Pegasus are great in a yellow deck because they have no restrictions and can use armour, too. Pegasus can't be targeted and is really a strong attacker plus has First Attack. Gouda is awesome but I like Soul Collector even better towards the middle of a game - he can kill anything bare-handed (only needs armour in the case of First Attack attacks).
I also use Nightmare (Penetration) with Growth Body added and the First Attack demon that has ST/HP x20 of the land level (dang, what's its name?). Even the Whirlwind (defense) has First Attack.
Knight is one of the most versatile creatures in the game because he has no restrictions and can use all items.

It's really hard to play a game without at least one Knight. It's like a high-priced figher, because it is more expensive, but it is worth it. Just watch out though, don't take that guy against someone like Selena, who likes to carry special monsters that can't be targeted by guys that are too strong.

I don't like the fact that Knight can't hold land without an item... You generally have to save a slot for him to be useful... I've played a lot of decks with him but always find that they're one of my earliest creatures to hit the sack and lose my lvl 3 land...
I lost this guy years ago... Yellow cards are strongest with their first attacks and gremlin... Knight would probably be my pawn to take early land and trade out later, but then again, why not just take it with a centuar right off and save the trouble? Why pack armors when all you should pack are swords with a yellow deck? Hourglass, and you should NEVER use armors...
