I love this guy. He's a great little beat stick. I replaced my 4 Minotaurs with 4 Gladiators as soon as I could. Plus, I love seeing the little sword wielding psycho on the map. ;D

I have a hard time keeping this guy alive though. He seems to be one of those creatures that always gets killed when I level up the land.

Gladiator is a great invader, true. However he cannot use anything except weapons. This means that basically if he gets invaded, you're pretty much screwed.

Yeah, Gladiator's one of my favorite cards. Just like Executor, but I try to trade them for something beefier whenever I can.

You guys make excellent points; I had one in my deck, and he worked well, until he has to defend, and then all things fall apart. I had to replace him. If I could switch him after taking a land, then I would be more comfortable with him.

I use 2 gladiators also, and to keep them alive, I have 2 Wing cards in my deck. Use a Wing, they get first attack, an additional 20 ST, AND they keep the critical. You just have to hope the other player doesn't have too many status changing cards.

K I know im new, But I've played Culdcept for lets see... The Last 3 weeks straight for about 10 hours a day lol. And Im not lying. The solution to this problem is exchanging the creature and Leaving Gladiator in ur hand for offensive purposes.
Just my 2 cents

I rather use a Migoal because a Migoal can defend your land a LOT better and can be a beat stick to red and green creatures... Just keep moving them in until you beat them because they sure can't touch you... And if you run into blue and yellow, even better... You got yourself a Gladiator on your hands...
I don't mind throwing a card away from Migoal too because you generally have to use a Wing to keep Gladiator alive which means you're going to end up keeping a certian card until a certian card is played which is a waste... Where as most of the time you're going to have a card you can handle losing anyways... I rather pick my card on the spot than to keep one for more than 5 rounds and not want to use it... This way you can have 4 Migoals and throw them away for one another and draw them more frequently...
