Good card.
The obvious use is to force an opponent to pay a toll twice but have you ever used it to level up a creature you just played? Or just to basically make an opponent miss a turn? Or to use a special building twice (like the Oracle)? Or to use the castle/fort effect twice (use territory command anywhere on board)?
Yes, very versatile.

I've used it to "stop" my opponent to pay multiple tolls, mainly. I never considered these other uses. Such excellent discussions on this site....

Another great use for Magic Word 0 :
If your opponent has just landed on a Bridge, if you cast Magic Word 0 while he is still on the bridge, it will force him to turn around and go the opposite direction.

That is pretty darn sneaky. I never seem to have this card in my hand when I need it though.

I learned the level up land use from an AI player who used it on me. I was like "what the..?" when it did that, but then realized I was counted as landing on my territory again after my dice turn. I didn't think it would do that. Holy Word 0 is the only one I use now

Imo, this card can turn the tide of any battle..just make sure that the oppenent you cast it on doesnt have any movement spells. I've won prob 50+ matches just by this card!

Indeed, Holy word 0 has many uses. My favorite is on maps that have an inner and outer area linked by a warp, as opposed to a bridge. Opponent gets stuck doing laps around the inner area, and when the thrice cursed die finally lets them land on the warp, Holy word 0 makes them stay there and warp back into the trap next turn. DANGER: this card may cause your opponents controller to suddenly and forcibly gravitate towards your head ;D

On Rabbid just now, I made Pickett pay the same toll three times(Four if you count the other tile he landed on with the same level, of a different color).. It was great. It was on one of the parts of the board that branch off, requiring players to reach the end and then return the way they came.
First he landed on the card, which was the second square, green, away from the castle. From there, I used Holy Word 2, making him hit my level 4 red land. Then I put Quicksand on the level 4 green land, had him hit it again, and cast Holy Word 0 the following turn.
I was in last place, and that caused him to forfeit a great deal of his lands, and put me in the lead.

This card is very useful in a lot of situations but it CAN turn against you... I play people a lot and whenever I notice this in their hand, I make sure I attack the FIRST time I land on their spot... I do it with a creature I know won't win and WILL do dmg, then next turn I just make sure I finish the job to take the land... So in effect, this spell used by a novice can turn into a Marker Flag... Still, I find myself playing without one because I want them to land on ALL of my lvl 5s instead of my ONLY one No room in my book for any magic word spells... Opposing cepters can just cast a simple cepter effect spell on themselves and the 0 is gone... Very easily countered...

You know, I'm actually partial to Holy Word 1. Has some similar uses to HW 0, and you can also use it to ensure you get adjacent spaces to drop critters on.
Of course, after some of the sneaky HW0 ideas you guys just pointed out...
