I love my dagon because he can be a defensive monster or an offensive one. The magic cost does suck but its worth it. The ninja card owns at offense esp with items. I have taken down some stuff cards in story mode with ninjas.

I agree with you about ninjas. Granted, I don't have that many cards, so my knowledge is limited. But regardless, I think the ninja is a great neutral creature, and his 1st-strike ability makes him very useful, especially when you have offensive items on hand.

Ninjas plus scrolls equals death.
You got first strike, critical hit for scrolls, and penetration with scrolls. With the scroll that causes 50hp, that means 75hp penetration. Very little can with stand that.

You can block that with Gremlin and Armor, or any 50 mhp creature with break item / hand.... Generally, any creature with 40 mhp and a 40 hp armor... Scoll attacks are best used when you have a rust in your hand, or a shatter / squeeze... I dunno where a critical hit usually pays off when playing scrolls either... I find that a 40 ST scroll used with any regular monster will get rid of the most annoying monsters on the board... Kelpie can't take a direct hit, and Old Willow takes a 60 HP dmg from the Critical hit Hell Blaze puts out... Anything else you just use brute force... My friend likes Ninja, I would too if it had some land bonuses... But since I use an all first attack deck, I'm not really scared of first attack monsters To others however this thing is annoying...
