I am an avid gamer, a father, and a librarian and a first generation immigrant in the U.S.
I learned English by reading fantasy novels (originally started with Robert E. Howard¡'s Conan) and playing Dungeon & Dragons. I have no preference to console games versus PC games¡both are important to the industry. If anything, I now prefer portable games (only have GBA though) as I do not find myself with time to sit down at home and play not to mention that my wife prefers that I do not play them (she is not a gamer) as often as I would like. I have a toddler son whom one day will introduce to games and he already shows interest them (I had to buy a second GBA for myself). I¡¯ve played many games over my time on many systems and my preference lies in Fantasy-based strategy games and RPGs or a combination of the two.

Favorite Games in Order of preference
Age of Wonders series (PC)
Culdcept series (PS1, PS2)
Never Winter Nights (PC)
Master of Magic (PC)
Master of Monsters (Sega Genesis)
Total Annihilation: Kingdom (PC)
Icewind Dale series(PC)
Final Fantasy Tactics (PS1, GBA)
Buldur's Gate series (PC)
Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance (PS1)
Ogre Battle (SNES)
Street Fighter Turbo (Sega Genesis)
Tactics Ogre (GBA)
Brigandine (PS1)
Fantasy General (PC)
Dune (Sega Genesis)
Shining Force (Sega Genesis)
Magic the Gathering and expansion (original PC game after patches
Front Mission (SNES)
Gauntlet (Sega Genesis)
Makai Kingdom and Disgaea (although a bit too much leveling up for my taste) (PS2)
Diablo clone whose name I forgot (PS1)
I like card games like Culdcept (even have the Japanese PS1 original and I don't speak or know Japanese at all) and have purchased 3 original unused copies to support the company and to have in case my son breaks, and wish more of them appear on consoles particularly for portable systems. I play Yu-Gi-Oh, but this series does not come close to Culdcept.
I am also designing my own game (emphasis on design and not create since I have no programming knowledge but may use Isoworld or a similar game maker program) that is card based but tactical in nature¡.think Magic the Gathering (with collection card feature similar to Culdcept) meets Tactics Ogre/Shining Force/Final Fantasy Tactics turn-based strategy concept in a 2D isometric view.
Well that is it about me¡except my priorities are family, work, games (on that order and that is how I spend my money as well¡which is why I wished that Culdcept Saga was going to be made in PS2 or Wii.
