Hi,
27 M Ny... I got Culdcept pretty much the fist week it came out. I'm a Strategy nut and love other games such as Civilization I & II & III and Risk.
Read a review of the game in Game Informer. Had a lot of strategy elements to it not to mention a Magic the Gathering feel to the cards. It appealed to me also because I have a family of gamers. My fiance' and her children 15 and 11 all play games, though I'm the biggest Thinking Person's game player in the house.
We usually play player vs. player or team battle games though short ones. We find long games to be tedious. I know, I know it is a great game and we come back to it a lot. Our 11 year old boy loves hearing the computer say all the funny names and of course pokes fun with all the questionable female creatures in the game. We really are casual and make decks with all the elements. I have a haymaker deck and a deck I call a dwelling deck which is about putting defensive creatures on the map and protecting them with armor items *also Mujina's Mask and land protection.
So I guess that's it.
My favorite cards:
Raksas, Dagon, Paladin, Green Mold and Leshy
