I just picked up Devil May Cry 2 at Target about two days ago and am now on Mission 10. Rid the world of evil corporations! This fun game is tough with interesting monsters, if you like a challenge; strategy required for fighting. Graphics are great but the camera angles are automatic and not adjustable. I found Mission 6 (Oranguerra/Infested Tanks/Infested Helicopters) to be especially difficult. Now I want to find the original Devil May Cry.

Well, I beat Devil May Cry 2 in Normal Mode on both the Dante disc and the Lucia disk (which have different maps that tie the storyline together) and unlocked Hard Mode, which is fairly easy, a couple of days ago. I'm almost finished with Lucia's disc but am stuck in Mission 12 against the single-to-triple multi-elemental god named Trismagia. Lucia is just not effective with Level 3 Silver Daggars and the weapon is maxed. This god was one of the toughest in Normal Mode but managed to defeat it in the first attempt.
Does anyone have a good strategy for this boss battle using Lucia, who is not very strong even in daemon form? There's never enough Red Orbs to purchase Vitality items - in this game, as soon as you buy an item, the price on that item goes way up immediately.

DMC2 requires almost no strategy, really.
To beat any boss, just stand back and spam a ranged weapon. Daggers with Lucia, E&I with Dante.
DMC1 and 3 are where it`s at.
I`m one of the few who played DMC1 first, and still enjoyed 2. But 2 is easily the weakest in the series. It`s like a totally different series.
