I don't understand how the cards that cost symbols to use work? Is it the current cost of the symbol or an actual symbol? I have an ELF and it seems like I have enough money including the cost of a symbol and I still cant use it. If I buy an actual symbol it seem like it doesn't work that way either. Can someone explain what it means when a card cost for example:
50+Yellow Symbol

The symbol + on that card refers to the colored land that you need to control. Therefore with your elf you need to pay the G cost, in addition to having a YELLOW land square. There are cards that require you must control two of the same land type, so and and so forth. Hope this helps!
