Hello everybody.
I'm a 20-year-old French student (studying law and economics to besome a journalist, if someone wanted to know...). I discovered Culdcept last Monday (I had heard about this game before but it is quite hard to find, even in import shops). I have to call myself lucky to have found the game, and even more to get an US version (japanese games are easier to find in those shops). It was quite cheap (€55), in comparison to the average prices of the imported games here.
Since Monday, I can't stop playing Culdcept (well, except when I'm in school...studies before everything else ^^). I'm particularly impressed by the beautiful drawings on the cards (can't pick my favorite one, there are too much of'em) and the incredible game mechanics (er...is "gameplay" the word for it ?).
I'm progressively building tactics (some brightly successful...and some not) and never get tired of it. I look forward to learn many things on this forum, and maybe one day (when I'm expreimented enough) share some...
I'm fond of Role Playing Games, and even made a website with some friends (http://www.legendra.com). We have almost reached the symbolic threshold of 100 000 viewers which, for a French-speaking website, isn't so bad...
I also like Science-fiction novels, especially by Tad Williams, Dan Simmons, David Gemmell, Serge Brussolo, Terry Pratchett, and Neil Gaiman.
Finally, I love Enigmatic music. Here is a non-exhaustive list of some artists I admire : Helium Vola, Qntal, Lesiem, Libera, Odi Et Amo, Magna Canta, Oliver Shanti & Friends, Conjure One, Delerium, Front Line Assembly, M83, DJ Tiësto, Secret Garden, Terry Oldfield, Gandalf, Dead Can Dance, Denez Prigent, Dagda, The Chieftains, Capercaillie, Liam O'Flynn, Ronan le Bars, Davy Spillane, Orion...
If there is anything you want to know about me, just ask me... I'll be glad to answer.
I hope my English wasn't too bad. Good night folks ! It's about time for me to go straight to bed... Hum... No, I think I'll have a little Culdcept game before. After all it's Sunday tomorrow...
