I just got these in at work yesterday, its similar to the sharkport only its easier to use and easier to find. Its basically an usb memory card that allows you to transfer data from your computer to ps2. At only 29.99 its the closest we can get to online play. I would love to play some of your AI characters you guys make and we could have a little tourney to see who's AI character is the best! I plan on buying mine next friday and here where you can order online for all of our overseas members Best of all it doesnt have a disk that doesnt read in newer ps2s like the sharkport! gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=801812

Is it as poor a design as the XPort in that they muck with your save files? Does it change the icon for a save file like the XPort? Gotta know these things. I do NOT trust these people, they have yet to design a product correctly.

It wouldn't be difficult to note the stats for the characters and just send them via msg boards or email, the books might be a wee bit more difficult but I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to list those as well. Certainly a lot cheaper than this unit. Now if there were a way to do PBM games this way...it might be worth it. Still, I'd rather see Datel not get money from people, they have an awful habit of screwing consumers one way or another and they do NOT deserve our business.

Truly, it's just too sad they ripped the Online version from the Dreamcast version and unfortunately the DC version doesn't include P2P either, hell, I'd gladly play long distance to dialup to one of you folks.
