I was looking through this forum the other day and noted one listing (posted by animetric, I think) regarding an anti-Zeneth deck. I've been having trouble beating Zeneth consistently, and was excited to see that there was a deck purposely built around him, but then I was disheartened to find that I hadn't yet acquired a few of the cards it included. So, I was wondering if anyone else had some other decks that were designed to beat Zeneth, and if they would post them here.
The deck I've currently been using against him is an almost all blue deck (with a few neutrals), with the Kelpie being the lynch-pin... but relying on the Kelpie seems to require too much luck of the draw, and I was hoping I could get a few pointers as to a more solidly consistent deck against him.
Zenith LOVES Evil Blast!! Use lots of land protection, and possbly invisibility. Also Gaseous form works well since i don't recall him using spells. Just remember, the more you lap, the more money you get, so also use those holy word x's to level up your characters!

After some frustration over losing again and again to Zeneth, I decided to give up my usual deck-building strategies and make a different kind of deck, taking some of the advice posted here and there on this site. I've come up with one that I think is pretty servicable against Zeneth, though I haven't tested it enough to be absolutely sure. I did win four out of the last five times I played him, though. Here is the deck:

Basically, I wanted a deck that would protect the Kelpie no matter what. A deck that would let me get the Kelpie out as soon as possible, and also allow me to level it up as soon as possible. Secondary efforts are lapping quickly and hindering Zeneth. (Hmm... as I write this, it just now occurs to me that Senility wouldn't help much, since there is really no creature in this deck that could be used offensively... so... maybe Peace would be better instead.)
The hope is that once the Kelpie is out and Land Protected, it will bankrupt Zeneth quickly, and he will be forced to give up all his territory. (This is why there are no creatures or items designed for invasive battle in this deck... by the mid to end-game, he shouldn't have any territories anyway.)
The Finds, Foresights and Prophecies can be used to get creatures out in the early game, and then to get items out in the late game. I would probably prefer one more Prophecy and Foresight and no Finds (not to mention some tweaking in the item department), but this deck is entirely based on what cards are currently available to me.
I've only had one occurrence so far where my draws were pretty bad and I didn't get a Kelpie down until Zeneth was already about to win... but I can't really tell if the deck has been working out for me the other times just because of luck, or because of its own merit. If anyone tests it out, please let me know what your impressions are!
