I found this game today and omg is it a deep srpg! Its a cross between a tactics game and a war game. You invade castles and lvl up your peeps. I am sorta overwhemed with how much you have to do, but after reading the gamefaqs on it im getting a lot better. Its on psx and im told its mega rare. I feel its a must buy if you can find it. Ill post a little more about it after I get the hang of it better.

I had it for a while and beat it with Kai (the wizard guy). It is a really cool game. I was never able to make my ultimate devil girl though...

I just got though playing for 5 hours straight! The battles are so awesome and long. Not only do you have to worry about battle at hand, you have to worry about your forts being taken over. The gameplay is beyond addicting imo!

Good God! I just finished invading and elimating the entire wolf army! It took me around 10 battles but i finally got them cornered and killed them all. This game is the funnest srpg I have played. I can see where a lot of people got turned off from the slow pace of battles but it kills final fantasy tactics by a lot imo. I am making an iso of this to back up and if anyone is having trouble finding it, I would be willing to send it to you. I think our Culdcept, Disgaea, Lapucele fans will get a huge kick out of this game. Its like a srpg mixed with risk...mega addicting! My email is justincred1914@aol.com to get ahold of me for the back-up.

I bought Brigadine used (complete) for PS1 about two years ago but haven't played it yet. You make it sound intriguing, as if I better check it out soon! You are beyond correct at how awesome Brigandine is! I bought it for $10 at a GameStop recently, and it is an amazing game. Play as Kai, you still get a challenge, but you have a great start. Play as the northern country, you have a heck of a challenge ahead of you! It is truly an amazing game for how simple it looks! Lets exchange some tactics/tips sometime!!!

Hello; Yep Brigadine is awsome . But comparing it to final fantasy tactics and such is a poor comparison. Those games have far mor rpg between their tatics battles. what brigadine realy is is what Master of monsters 2 should have been. master of monsters if you dont know was a 16 bit game on the seg genesis. you would summon monsters like dragons unicorns and wizards and battle to first take mana towers from the enemy weakining thier summon ability then kill the enemy sorceror. master of monsters 2 was a cheap ps1 version of the game without the originals charm and no enhancement over the classic cartridge game. Brigadine howevor is the same gameplay of the original but enhanced instead of capturing towers to reduce enemy summoning power you capture castles reducing their mana income. instead of being a loner you gain allies. instead of just advancing through maps you follow a story. that said if you have a working genesis and can find the cartridge version I highly recomend it. also if you have a sega cd a game called dark wizard is also a excellent take on the same gameplay with much better graphics than even brigadine and a much richer story. Best wishes; Tahthed
