First off, I just want to say that I know any deck using Kelpie or Old Willow is a winner against the computer. That got real boring for me, so I devised many alternate ways to dominate.
Secondly, I will say that any given deck has to be built for a specific arena and opponent, in that order.
Thirdly, I discovered the power of the wind, which I will now share with you.
I won't give you a specific card by card build of your deck, because it always changes. But for a medium to long game, a wind deck cannot be beat by the comp.
Heres why. The Gouda is KING!
For an unbeatable yellow deck, pull four Gouda's, four Night Fiends, one Sphinx, one Quatezotcl(sp?), one yellow master, and whatever other yellow cards to make up twenty five creature cards in your deck.
I like to use Nike's, Gremlins and Whirlwinds; but realize that a lot of the yellow creatures are vulnarable to Evil Blast (for this reason I carry four Mutation spells in my yellow deck). Also realize that a yellow deck can be slow to deploy because of the land requirements.
But once you get going, you should be able to make a significant presence on the board.
Now, the key thing about Gouda's is that for every yellow creature on the board, they get X10 St & Hp. It doesn't take long to have a St 80; Hp 80 Gouda out there. And that is a mean ass creature for only 60 G.
The Night Fiend can be a bad ass attacker to take out the heavy enemy lands, or it can be a formidable foe on your own leveled up lands; although I would say level four or above.
Throw gremlins and Nikes into the mix and you can see the sort of problem facing this deck will pose.
Just for reference, my usual mid-game gouda is around St 200: Hp 200. Useful for defending or more so for attacking that level four land of the computers!
So what to do for your remaining 25 cards?
That depends entirely upne the arena and the opponent.
As I stated above, I will take four Mutation spells (They are awesome if you can hit up a Powder Eater to around 80 Hp; every Powder Eater you create from the original will have 80 Hp), I will also take four Reflect Amulets.
Beond that, it is up to you.
For example, If you play someone you know has Evil Blast's, take Land Protection. If you play someone who has scroll attacks, use Rainbow Shard. If you play someone who attacks a lot, use more items to counter.
The basic strategy of the yellow deck is centered around sing Gouda. Imagine having 15 Leoknights on the board! Well, that is what the Gouda is!!! Except the Gouda keeps on giving depending on how many yellow guys are deployed. Try using Bandit Glove with Gouda. Would you like to take 400+ G from your opponent before they even get to your Toll?
Besides using Mutation on your Powder Eater, try using it on your Gremlins. How do you beat a 70 Hp (1 Gremlin with 2 Mutations) Gremlin without using items?
The bottem line is that a yellow deck can give you much fun in ass-kicking without resorting to the tired Kelpie or Old Willow.
