Taking a break from killing Goligan 50 times, here's four books I think do OK. Post any thoughts.

Notes: Pretty straightforward, I'd say it's my "main book." I'd probably change it up a little if I were going to seriously fight humans with it (ie: swap out old willow for something), or maybe not.

Notes: Brass Idol is in because there can be some pretty heavy card usage going on and I can almost always use any card I draw. Any non-support creatures (Executor, Colossus, Stonewall) are in to be eaten by support guys since they're more economical than any item, with the exception of Sorcerer, who's a last ditch against anything brute force can't handle (along with Tearing Halo). Since Invisibility is the only spell, most of the time everyone's basically land protected.

Notes: Creatures that aren't Odradek are only food for Odradek. Get them down, level them to five, and blast everything. Erasure is in case Mass Phantasm is cast or someone gets inside an Odradek's land protect and paralyzes it or something. Maybe some Prophecies would be good but last time I played this deck I only had one (it makes everyone very frustrated, so it doesn't get played much :P)

Note: Put something down every single turn, it won't matter if it's off color coz it'll be a goblin soon anyway. Levelling up is of minimal concern, as the primary revenue source is really Demonic Trade. You'll probably want to start buying symbols after the first Trade just so you don't have a ton of drainable cash. On maps with a lot of "dead rolls" (forts, bridges, prophet, whatever), playing this book is equivalent to the sufferings of hell.

Hey, I'm working on something similar to the weeni deck (waiting to get the cards I need for it).

My idea was to run more Gooba Queens + telegnosis to drop Goobas all over the place when I couldn't drop creatures (initial testing found the "dead roll" problem as well.)

Feast was something else I had planned. Even though it helps your opponents as well, it should help you more, if you're dropping critters everywhere.

Just some thoughts.

I've considered Feast, I just hate it... heh. Maybe I'll try it.
Also considered Mass Phantasm, as an Odradek (or similar) book would kill the hell out of me.

For the Tempest or the Catastrophe, Mass Phantasm is a troublesome existence.
As countermeasures, if curses are hung lands again, a Dessert Storm or a Plague may be effective.
