How do I kill my opponent's level five Sea Bonze? I can't use items or effects, and it has 90 HP. He runs three Telekinesis, so I can't just push him off the land, and I don't want to dedicate that much of my deck to direct damage type spells. What should I run to counter this strategy?

I think you need spells outside of battle. Paralyzing is a common way to get rid of annoying creatures. As is Damage Spells, as you mentioned. Always, Senility works. I like Senility, even though it is quite expensive. Meteor is a card I used to use when I didn't have many cards, and it's wonderful when going against people dumb enough to build up level 5 territories as fast as possible.

You can't use Senility against Sea Bonze, because NO EFFECT works during battle. However Paralyze is a different story. It becomes effective before battle starts.

Your right, sorry about that.

The Sea Bonze not only neutralizes special abilities, it also eliminates built-in drawbacks on a creature. For example, a Hell Hound will actually inflict full damage on it. I found this out the hard way.

I think the Paralyze tactic may not work... Last night I tried being sneaky and casting Quicksand on my Sea Bonze (Lvl 5, big bucks!) and the spell went through and everything... But my opponent walked right by it and I was like "Wait, what?!" And it had no icon or anything. Like it negated the continual effect I placed on it.
Might be the exact same thing for negative continual effects.
