Using MULTIPLE items on your creatures

Can this be done?

For example is there any way I can drop some attack/defense item during a battle AND use a scroll or use a defense item AND a support creature to buff up a supportable creature.

In other words, can you chain defense/offense items and if so, how.

I don't have every card, but I'm going to guess that the answer is no. The closest thing to using two items is getting spells that boost your monsters stats while you are out of battle.
