Well, those of you who have befriended me on the Xbox 360 won't see me on the Xbox Live service for a while. After applying a Console Update this past weekend, I was visited by the "Red Ring of Death" and am now waiting for Microsoft to send me a shipping coffin in order to send in my system for repairs. Repair turnaround time is estimated to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 4 to 6 weeks, so hopefully, I will be back up-and-running in November.

I guess I don't have to worry about whether or not I need to ask for a day off of work to play Halo 3 on its day of release...

Man, that's rough.

I consider myself very lucky, as I have had my 360 for over a year now and I haven't had a single problem with it.

Break out your PS2 and do some Culdcept practice in the meantime.
