Hi. I hope that this forum can grow into a large community of Culdcept fans. It needs your help in order to do that. So if you have friends that play Culdcept, send them here and have them sign up. The more people we have, the larger and better the discussions will be. I'm not trying to compete with the gamefaqs board, just trying to organize our thoughts better.
thanks

Lord Penquin, I submitted your site over at GameRankings.com, under their Culdcept "Fan Sites" list. I hope that you don't mind....

I know what you mean. With the release of Culdcept I here, and the release of Culdcept II in Japan (hopefully it will come here as well), I hope there is enough interest shown to the developers that we NEED an online version. Alas, if there is to be one, it wouldn't reach our shores until 2005 I think, and that is near the time for the PS3 to come out... Perhaps Culdcept Online for the PS3 as a launch title? One can only hope. One can only hope too that Sony will put a freakin broad band modem in the PS3, not an add on.

Lord Penquin: I saw that you made an entry over on the IGN forums this morning. I stopped by over at GamePro and at GameSpy, and promoted your site. You are also now listed over at GameRankings. Check it out: www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/918917.asp

Lord Penquin, I submitted your site over at GameRankings.com, under their Culdcept "Fan Sites" list. I hope that you don't mind.... I expected that TNL Fourm was accepted in "Culdcept Fan Sites" by GameRankings.com. However, it did not suit. This forum is possible. Good Luck.

I expected that TNL Fourm was accepted in "Culdcept Fan Sites" by GameRankings.com. However, it did not suit. This forum is possible. I'm surprised they didn't list it, since they did list The Next Level's review score in their Review section. Maybe it's because The Next Level is not a site that is dedicated to only the discussion of Culdcept, and it's like many other sites that just have one board (of many others) devoted to this subject. Don't feel bad, OWell - I've submitted things to GameRankings on several different occasions that they didn't accept, either. Anyway, I'm glad that you mentioned it here. I hadn't found it until you mentioned it in your post here.

Thanks Garek. Considering this seems to be the only Culdcept only forum in existance (english), and it is now listed on gamerankings, we may get flooded (let's hope).

Considering the news that was posted this morning about Culdcept receiving an award from IGN, I sent off a message to the folks over at NEC to mention it to them. I also made mention of this forum, since they do list a few links at the top of their Culdcept description page. Maybe they'll list this forum, too...

I just wanted to take a moment to thank Marc Doyle over at metacritic.com for placing a link to the Culdcept Forum on the metacritic site. If you have a moment or two, please show them some love and load up their site. As I mentioned in my previous post, their Culdcept page is located here: - www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/ps2/culdcept/ As soon as the Culdcept Forum clears out a bit today, I'll be placing this banner in a place or two on the site. I don't want to be messing with the site while folks are posting, so I'll be in and out to check out what's going on during the day to see if the traffic slows down later.

I am very happy to report that the Culdcept Forum now appears on the Yahoo search engine, and it may be appearing on others as well. On Friday, I submitted the site to both Yahoo and to the Open Directory Project - www.dmoz.com/ - which supplies information to many different search engines. It's still not showing up on DMOZ, but you can check out the Yahoo listing here: - search.yahoo.com/search?p=%22culdcept+forum%22&ei=UTF-8&fr=fp-tab-web-t&cop=mss&tab=I don't know how we rank when doing just an ordinary search for "Culdcept", but I guess we'll see.....

It also considered becoming the editor of DMOZ for Culdcept temporarily. However, since the maintenance was serious, I threw away the idea.
