Does Death Gaze eliminate the target card from just the current match? Or does it permanently remove that card from the victim's stock?... as in, it won't be available in future matches unless the victim can win that card again.
My friends and I have been afraid to include this card in any of our decks because we play friendly games.. and if this card can remove their favorite rare card from their deck permanently, we'll... that's just no fun for friendly gaming. If it just removes that card permanently from the current match, then that's cool.

The card is removed from the book for the game only. Hmmm, I think I've only used this card against computers, but I am certain that an in-game ability will not dwindle your card stock. That being said, the card being removed will not be added back into the book when it reshuffles. Unfortunately, cards like Revival and Lightcraft will completely replenish your book, including cards lost by a Death Gaze. I hope that help.

I gotta try that out. I remember awhile back I used Death Gaze while playing and I wondered if the Death Gaze actually takes the creature cards out of the deck for the duration of the game or until they reshuffle. I think it might take the card out for the duration of the game; it would not make a lot of sense to take it out of the current deck if you'll get it right back when you reshuffle. Yeah, I know there are cards that can bring such back, but I really think this card is supposed to reduce the deck total, like from 50 to 49, then 48, ect. I think, and I could be wrong, that the genius in this card is that you can whittle down an opponent's deck by wiping out his creatures. I remember playing this with a combo of the Changling card, which turns 2 cards into goblins. Not only does this drop the strength of the opponent's deck, it also gets rid of them one by one if you use the Death Gaze. But I really think the Death Gaze deletes the card for the duration of the game, meaning after the game you get it back. Maybe someone else can shed light on this.
