Hey Gang,
When playing against Morroc I saw something a little strange a couple of times regarding the Shrine and some of his idols. A negative shrine effect randomly targetted him (the ceptor not simply one of his creatures) but instead of suffering any ill effects one of his idols died and he was unaffected. Did this death of an idol spare him or was the sudden death of one of his idols after I visited the shrine some random coincidence?

I've noticed a similar thing happen sometimes. At times when a shrine targets me with Something Bad, the bad effect doesn't happen and I lose a card from my hand instead - which can be quite upsetting...

Hmm, remember what the card was?
And your sure the effect wasn't simply to lose a card?

I've noticed the card destroying 'glitch', it's actually documented in this forum already... What it is, is that the effect described on the screen is not what actually happens. The guilty shrine effect is called Spirited Away. It says "One Cepter will be unable to move until the other Cepter rolls an even number with the dice." (which is the actual effect from the Imprisonment shrine effect) but you actually get a random card destroyed. This thread talks about it, and theres a further link to more info on the shrine effects in the last post in the thread. culdcept.proboards27.com/index.cgi?board=bar&action=display&thread=1077998401

Ahhh, that's it!
But there really is a Ceptor Imprisonment effect still as well, right (not with this, I know, but as a seperate effect)?

Correct- I once got stuck and couldn't move for 9 turns until Morroc rolled an even number. Suckass.

This really bothered me for a while as the Spirited Away effect seems to pop up all the time. I now know to look for the name of the "chance card" rather than the description.
It's also worth mentioning that spirited Away only removes Creature Cards. There is a seperate "chance card" that destroys a spell or an item card (called Card Theft).

I've seen another glitch from the Shrine effects: It says it's going to do something bad to all forest creatures and then targets the water creatures instead. Is this verified? Also, is there a shrine effect that actually targets the forest creatures the same way?
